Oh, I thought "AuggieDosta" was just your covid mask. I didn't recognize you with it on... lol. How have you been?
In my speed-reading of the ToS I inadvertently overlooked that particular sentence. Is there a reason there's a period at the end of the thread title? Isn't that a violation of Terms of Service?
Madison is a nice town. I live about 35 miles to the east but work on Redstone Arsenal. Safe travels......just drove thru Madison on my way back out to Denver.

Just please keep your damn pants on this go-round. The last time you felt this way you gave the lady next door a heart attack, the mailman refuses to come down your street and the dog is still whimpering and hasn't come out from under the porch. This might be a good time to unveil my true identity.....

Hmmm, that's a loaded question. Lol... Their BBQ is good but there are a couple of other places that are better IMO. One is a friend of mine that lives over in the far northwest corner of Alabama. The other is the Woodville Volunteer Fire Department's BBQ that they make and sell every year the last Friday/Saturday before July 4th.@Nalt ... you a Whitt’s man?
I’ve spent a long time trying to mimic their sauce. Gotten close but have settled on a variation that I like equally well. The rest is just good bbq.Hmmm, that's a loaded question. Lol... It will take some doing but...I'll try and find some pics that one of my brother's sent me a few years ago. He and a few buddies of his actually finished in 3rd place at "Memphis In May." Their sauce was what got them that finish and they even sold it to one of the competition sponsors. I think the pics are on my computer at work so I'll try and find them and share them with you.I’ve spent a long time trying to mimic their sauce. I remember as a kid going with my grandmother to get Brunswick stew at Mrs. Gibson’s off memorial. Not sure I’ve had anything that compares.
