Bend over a lot.

Stay low and beat defensive tackles. pad level wins usually. most nose tackles are 6'2" to 6'4" kind of guys for a reason. White is freakishly strong though. I really doubt this is going to be a problem.

Pull a lot in Mullinz system although we haven't seen much of that lately. I think why don't you find it this he's got pretty good feet for a giant dude.

White vs Eguakan is a no brainer in my book.

Heggie would be nice if he could stay healthy 15 mins in a row.

You DONT want to be switching centers. Center makes all the line calls and is critical.

Hard to pull when you’re getting knocked on your ass before the first step is taken, and even harder to run the ball as a result.

I think it’s great to see White lock it down. Here’s a kid showing a ton of dedication to his game by dropping weight. Apparently he’s a good student, and as you alluded, he needs to be intelligent to make the calls. Massive, quick, strong, intelligent, and dedicated makes a great Center more often than not. It’s also who you can build an Oline around. No Center in this offense and it gets even more 1 dimensional, and quickly.

At last we come to it. Can Ethan actually make the line calls?

see Derrick Coleman

First thought was, “which one was that again?”. Second thought was, that pretty well makes the point.

I was also thinking Ricky Williams, though he’s obviously on an entirely different level, and possibly a sore subject. Some guys had no choice but to be pushed into football because of their bodies, whether they wanted it or not.

Contrast that with someone like Brandon James who probably had no business playing at this level, and certainly not with the success he had, but who had the heart and desire to be great.

1s usually dont face 1s.

Nothing is usual about this 2020 season and the lack of a spring season. Also, under Meyer they did. I really don't know Mullen's set up on that front. Regardless, I'm not really weighing in on how they are going against each other, as we aren't seeing it. It is just an amusing two lines back to back that could facially conflict.
