Yeah, I think Net missed the reference. It wasn't an endorsement of Freeze, it was an attempt at a witty repartee playing on the idea that I felt it was "cold" of Finger to remind Ox of his assurance that Chip Kelly was the next coach to which I feigned sympathy, only to drop the "Freeze" photobomb reminding Ox and others that before he assured us Kelly was the hire, Ox told us his "insiders" had told him it was a done deal that Freeze was going to be the Head Coach. When you have to explain this stuff it really takes away from the impact.

I got the reference. It was on point. Were you the one Ox threatened to ban for life once Freeze was officially introduced? Though it was you, but there may have been several.

Anyway, once the name was out there, I had to address it, and address it quickly, to keep the thread from veering off course.

There are so many exaggerations, lies, and half-truths in this bucket of nonsense you could be a novelist.

Freeze was barely above .500 against Mullen(3-2), while cheating at OM, and was blown out by a guy named James McElwain.

Hard pass on that buck-toothed, tranny hooker ordering, anime porn watching, country bumpkin.

We can do better.
Freeze beat Saban twice.

Malzahn actually won the SEC went to an NC and is the real reason Barn actually won an NC once.

Douchebag isnt in the same league as either.

Douchebag could play Saban every game for the rest of his career and never win once.

That being said, no as to all three even in their prime, not that Douchebag ever had a prime.

So you felt the need to throw out an irrelevant stat(Miles beat Saban 3 times), bring up and entirely unrelated coach in Malzahn, make blanket statements regarding Mullen(also not related in any way to my post), only to agree with my assessment in the end?

Well done. I’d keep that mug I sent you. You may have plateaued.

All of it. Rudest effing people in the world. Driving through it is a nightmare. Getting delayed in the airport is certrain. While airport food is crap across the whole country, its especially crap there and the people serving you are a bunch of lazy rude low lifes. The downtown area is depressing for such an old southern city. Its just all around the crapiest place in our country.

Rude you say? Well FCVK YOU AZZHOLE!!! You’re probably the dipshyt driving 60mph in the left lane on 285. It wouldn’t be a nightmare if you actually did 80 like everyone around you.

Oh, and fcvk off!

Rude my azz.

anime porn watching.

Missed that salacious detail. Back when I was working with one of the big 5 I started paling around with a guy whose cubicle shared a wall with me. He seemed like a pretty normal dude. Loved sports, liked to take lunch around the same time I did. There was a period for about six months we going to the Landing (RIP) nearly every day together for lunch. He was a single dude and I was married, but I was trying to figure out how to introduce him to one of my wife's single friends so I could invite to the stuff that was mostly couples without him feeling like a fifth wheel.

WELLLLLLL....

One day we're sitting at The American Grill and I asked, "so other than sports - what else are you into?" Anime was the answer. Me, knowing jack**** about the artform I have always called "Hiroshima's Revenge" asked him if there was any particular show or something that he liked. My wife had a friend that was totally nuts for Sailor Moon among other weirdness. Now he's really animated "funtanari" he says. I had to have him spell it. "Oh cool," says I, thinking this is the name of a show.

So after I got back to my desk I pulled out my phone and Googled it.

Do not Google it.

Strangely, I had to move my lunch time to coincide with my wife's lunchtime in a neighboring building. Even though at that point my wife did not work in a neighboring building. Thankfully a couple months later he got a job at Chase.

I lived up there for 17 years. He’s right…if tourons like you weren’t bogging sh*t down by driving like scared little b*tches, the traffic would flow at 80.

No...I got the reference. It was Ox's moment that rivals the several Hollywood Blob's Done Deal moments. Well, that is what I thought at the time because I was new to the board when that was happening. In fact, I went by a different account but I forgot the password at some point and then created this one.

I disagree though...I think Freeze is a solid coach who will do the things necessary to win. Im just sorry I had a serious moment during a conversation that was going a completely different and better direction. I could have elevated the thread but I brought it down a bit. For that, I am sorry and promise to do better. However, I do want to point out that without my input we wouldn't have been treated to another one of 5*finger's long arse stories that goes nowhere. You are welcome.

Hell, even Sumlin beat Saban once (at Bama no less) and I'd be willing to bet all my Oxbucks that no one here wants him as our next HC.

You are right. Simply having beaten lil Nick shouldn't be the only criteria for a hire by a long shot. But hiring someone who had never beaten Bama after 9 years in the SECW, then claim we are building a national champion was, what's the word, fuktarded?

Well, I don't know that asking the perennial worst Western program to beat what has become an absolute beast under Saban is the best judge of a coach's worthiness either. I still think that Mullen's biggest flaw is/was staying there as long as he did. It made zero sense. At the latest 2014 should've been his final year. But I do agree that one or two wins mean little. Nutt and Tubberville both beat Meyer at home with Tebow and Harvin. I want neither.

As I've said, we can(or at least should be able to) do better than both. When your UAA is infected with garbage mindsets, this is what you get. Anyone want to guess who we get if Mullen says no in 2017? I'll always be thankful that he said yes and spared us from a Knoxville type disaster.

I'll give Law some credit on his list. I don't like Malzahn but do agree he was never given due praise for what he did during Alabama's run. Those wins should've garnered a lot more attention.

No argument here. CDM would not have been my choice either.

I think I know who you’re talking about. I seem to recall one UF coach that beat Saban and had him so rattled that he ran off to the NFL in shame, refusing to return until the risk had vanished.

He cleans a bank now.

I'd take either one of them. Probably the cleanest bank in the world too. You know if Dan cleaned banks it would be filthy.
