You can’t get to long term with a title or two. Let the results guide the length. Besides, we all know 50-year roofs aren’t meant to last 50 years.
You have to be burning up the back channels right now, which makes me wonder how willing the university is to undertake searching for a new AD at the same time regardless of my own ill feelings about the present one.
I think the AD situation is on the back burner for this admin. they are so incompetent that they would feel it easy to let Fooley run things for the time being. Remember most are still drunk on his semen and still can't figure out why so many people hate him. I do not believe the admin has done any AD searching and that is their mistake. I am finally of the belief that Strichnine the baseball boy finally just could not handle the noise of everyone telling him that his Cousin Eddie fiasco had to go. This Cousin Eddie BS is solely on him and for that alone he has to go. Just as Fooley should have been shyt canned for Zook, but this admin had no Ballz.
So you’re leaving open the possibility that we allow an ultimately lame duck AD be in charge of finding our next football coach?
Don’t take no for an answer. We need to finally grow a set and do whatever it takes to get our #1. And don’t let baseball boy anywhere near the hiring process.Call Stoops and Kiffin first and make them both tell you no thanks, then move forward
No chance. His role is going to be akin to Fooley's role when Leyer was hired. Go sit in the closet until summoned to be errand boy to get contract signed. Strichnine has become the new Fooley and then some.
That’s even scarier. It leaves it in the hands of a hard-drinking engineer.
Agreed. I think the Strickland mess (baffles me how he's not been fired yet or forced to resign for basically covering up the women's basketball coach harassment) could cock block us from hiring someone great. If you're a potential coaching candidate you have your agent doing DD on UF and the program and their agent will let them know about the Strickland mess and potential to be hired by him, but working for a different AD at any time upcoming if UF finally fires his ass and hires someone new. A new AD could have a totally different vision for the program and possibly a different personality mix than the new head coach.I think the AD situation is on the back burner for this admin. they are so incompetent that they would feel it easy to let Fooley run things for the time being. Ah yes, another guy looking at him 10 years ago, not today. He was 10-3 last year at FAU. He's 9-2 right now. First time Ole Miss has EVER gone 7-0 at home, if they beat MSU next week will be first 10 win regular season ever... yeah, he "fizzles everywhere." Wouldn't have considered him even 3 years ago, absolutely would today because of his total progression over the last 5-7 years (starting with Saban hiring him).Kiffin is a vagabond. He wouldnt be here more than two years. I dont understand the allure of what amounts to a gimmick. He fizzles everywhere and leaves
He's the Kardashians of college football. Everyone has had a ride on the Kiffin express
Freeze or Cristobal.
We have to get back in the recruiting game, and now. Kiffin if we strike out on those two.
