Yeah, I thought Cristobalz was a recruiting guru mofo machine. Goes to show you what scUM is. No matter how you paint a turd, it's still a turd.
Me as well but we discounted that Oregon has everything to offer in terms of facilities. The nucleus of their commits I believe are west coast players. They have a lot to sell, more than scUM even if their NIL were in tact. But it's a fiasco and miami has limited program resources. One thing to miami's credit is their incredible home game atmosphere. I wish we could pack our stadium with 5,000 largely disinterested attendees. "Noise!!!!"

For the record, Teddy Foster plays CB, WR, and S for his high school team. He has tremendous body control with excellent hands. I can see why UF pursued him so hard.

Here’s another nice article about Teddy:

“You are getting a player with the character, drive and focus of a Todd Johnson with the frame, tools and potential of a Jalen Ramsey,” Haskins said of the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Foster. “He understands concepts even though he just started playing the middle of his sophomore year.

“He’s got such length. We obviously had good guys at Florida. The guys when I was there were JC Jackson and Vernon Hargreaves III. Vernon had a weirdly unique body, but he didn’t have anywhere the length (Foster has). Vernon was a 5-foot-11 guy with good length.”

He's the only CB we've got so fa:scratchhead:

We are in the running for Jamari Howard and Zavier Mincey. We’re also in it for Wardell Mack. But everything that I’ve read, says that Howard and Mincey are our two main targets.
Looks like Mincey is considered a Safety. Safety wth legit CB skills?

Yes. Think Chauncy Gardner Johnson. Potential to play CB, either safety position or star.
Rivals seems to be missing the boat on this one. That or the other sites agree to disagree with Rivals. Any thoughts as to why he hasn't committed? Is he lower on our board than others we might be recruiting?

We are at 20. If we only add 4, to get to 24, what positions would you choose?

Me?

1 OT, 1 DL (elite rush or DT), 1 WR, 1CB.

I would keep recruiting someone of high caliber at each position group in case we get flipped. I also think we could go as high as 26 because of unforeseen attrition and the possibility we lose a commit or two. As far as us flipping recruits, I would look to fsu, scUM, georgia, even LSU, to see who might have interest in listening/visiting. Re flipping recruits to fill our class, I see that as being a strategy in case we get flipped out of a couple of commits. Taking a very good player from an opponent is like a 14 point swing.

We are recruiting him at CB. Not safety.
