Recruiting 2024 Recruiting Thread: 4* 315 pound DL D'antre Robinson commits

In his first season we all thought we had a once in a generation QB to leverage! That was frustrating wasn't it? Most of us thought it was more AR challenges not BN ineptness. This past season the ineptness was clearly in the design and the playcalling. Lagway needs to play a lot next season but if you are asking what faith I have in BN to design something comparable to what Mullen did with Tebow I'm just going to disagree. The suckage isn't going to stop because of the overwhelming talent of a true freshman QB.

Yall acting like I said we'd have an entire game plan for Lagway. I'm saying something very simple. 3 to 4 plays that they work him in for.
We've routinely had a good first series every game, but somehow we can't figure out how to get Lagway a couple of plays?

Everyone is bickering back and forth pouncing on every possibly objectionable word and turning it into an argument.

An arbitrary statement like “I think it will be like Leak and Tebow” turns into character assassination even though the intent of the statement is pretty obvious.
Nobody is comparing the two QB pairs but simply using an example of blending the role.

We’re a month removed from the season and we are already going for the throat.
Gonna be a long offseason.

Yeah...well...AR isnt that generational talent we all thought either. Plus he gets hurt just running to the locker room. Also, are you suggesting what Mullen did with Tebow was something great, because it wasn't. Maybe a better comparison would be how he handled Trask and EJ. Yall arguing about what type of toppings yall want on that poo sammy.

No I said expecting BN to create a special package for Lagway as effective as the one Mullen created for Tebow backing Leak isn't going to happen. Apparently reading comprehension is lacking here but that isn't surprising either.

Lagway won't pay unless Mertz gets hurt.
Unless we get some serious help on the O line between now and the fall, the QB position is going to struggle.
Throwing a true Freshman in there against a great d line like Samford has, would be a horrible thing to do to a true Freshman.
We can't ruin his one season here, before he skips town for the big bucks.

Technically, it’s been 38 days since the season ended, and despite your off-base assertion, I expect the offseason to be the exact same length as usual. But by all mean, carry on. We’re all just so excited for your next brilliant post.

Apparently we recruit 24/7/ 365 however, our standards, per the process, are so defined it takes many moons to determine if the potential recruit is "the right fit" for an offer of scholly. We must trust the process, right. If that makes sense!?
