I think you should change the question to more of what type of offense in the sense of spread, pro, etc...
I really prefer idea of running a power run game out of the spread; a few teams do this with a lot of success such as Baylor and other teams. It keeps defenses honest and still allows us to toss the ball around the yard with a running back able to pick up 4-5 ypc
I really think people use the term "power" running game when they just mean running game. It's become a common misnomer that when ever a team has a successful ground game people just say power run game because it sounds better. Power Run = between the tackles, big line, big back. Just because you have a successful ground game doesn't equate to being a power running team.
An offense that has a balanced attack. You won't get very far without a passing or run game. I just want a QB that can make good reads and move the ball with his arm if needed and some tailbacks that can run well behind a good O line
The kind that wins. I like running and passing and I think an offense should be able to do both well. That way we scheme for the opponent and have all tools available depending on who we're playing.
Something balanced. Don't think we should have to rely on one or the other. We should do both well enough that we can exploit the defenses' weaknesses.
