I feel good about where we are after seeing the spring game. I'm pretty excited about next fall and that's coming from somebody who was pretty down on the program not too long ago. I think the perception of where we are may be changing.

Thanks for the commentary on the negativity around here. I admit to some of it myself due to the way the season ended. Ugh, I'm still pissed about the way we seem to approach bowl games.

One aspect of the negativity that really gets to me is the "trashing" of players. It's fair game to critique player performance, capability, fitness, etc. But some of the rhetoric used on here to go after players bothers me. And yes I block those posters.

Pun intended? I hope so.

Not sure which LB you were referring to. Kylan Johnson is a converted safety and it looks to be a good move for him. David Reese is an early enrollee and he showed up in some moments too. Coaching staff seems really high on Reese.

They both looked pretty good. Reese looks ready to play and its a good thing bc someone will be required to stepup right now. Im not sre that we wont be seeing Christian Garcia some, at least on running downs.

Im a little disheartened to see that once again Rolin and MacMilian managed to avoid the weight room all spring. No hope for those two I guess.

As for Trashing, its funny that most of you are the same ones who want Free-on executed ASAP and who felt the same about John Brantley (you know bc Brantley was the one who collected smurfs at every position and decided not to recruit OL).

I browse the other boards from to time. They are all dead, even the Pumper only mandated Gatorchatter. The fact is there is zero buzz around our program. Not much to talk about. Truthfully, there would be zero traffic here if it werent for the occasional Kyle Trash or Jay Luvs Noles thread.

I've given up on them being serious contributors. Reese looks ready and so does Johnson. Hopefully they dedicate themselves between now and the fall. Maybe one of the freshman LBers arriving in the fall can contribute. Services list Vosean Joseph around 207-215, but in his recent vids he looks like he is up to around 225-230. Jeremiah Moon is still the same weight. He is redshirting.

UF has one of the greatest athletic departments in the country and while there is room for improvement, few universities every even come close to the success we have had.

If he gets some decent players for the D we can compete with Bama again. I think this team will be much better next year. As for Cover's last paragraph. Nail on the head. Most of you young fellas know nothing about frustration and futility when it comes to gator football. Before sos came home it was heartache over and over and over..........
