Those pictures are with the sun going down. It's bright and sparkly like crazy in the sun. The pearls are a bit color-shifting so the car looks darker depending on the angle.

That looks horrible. Who picked that color, your wife?

I like the color just not sure it's the best color for a vette. I too love plastic dip. I just used it yesterday to black out the badges on my wife's new SUV. Only took 30 minutes.

Well, the great thing is that when I go to do this again I learned one hell of a lot. In time, I may peel it and try a different color.

Impressive work, Ox. I hate the color, but to each his own.

Overall with the wheels it makes the car look way more up to date....Did you put at least 3 coats of plain clear gloss on over the last pearl coat? Shine seems lacking, but that is some peeps "modern" look.

How about some daylight pics? Good work, as usual...

I saw a youtube video from the dipyourcar people that said clearcoating over the plastic makes it much harder to remove later.

Here's a spray-on product that appears to be a solution for those women drivers

There's only so much "shine" you're going to get with plasti-dip. It's either going to be matte or satin. Full gloss cannot happen.

I am beyond impressed with how well you remade that car, especially if it was really your first time and you learned as you went. Not my choice of color but damn fine work.

Well done, Sir.
