Yes, make sure the Mexican is illegal - they do the superior work. I had some plants installed recently and I specifically requested illegals only. The owner obliged, because that's all he had, and I'm pretty sure he's sans paperwork himself.
I read this just now in bed, wife asleep next to me, I laughed so loud she woke up and smacked me

:lol2:

This thread is dang funny. Next time just use one of those reel blade mowers. It will save the hassle of falling parts.

Got the part today from my brother $18 with shipping. Briggs and Stratton rip off. Couldnt have cost more than 2 dollars to ship it. Light as a feather. Snapped right on. Tempted to duct tape that sob on.

I think they just ripped us off cause it took days to get there. But I made the mower whole again.

I broke down and paid a little more for a Honda lawnmower Heard a guy who fixes mowers Briggs and Stratton engines ain't what they used to be. So far the Honda has been a good mower.

There's really not much to fix on a lawn mower engine . Most common problems are spark or fuel. Spark is produced by the coil and plug. Fuel is mixed with air and sent to the combustion chamber by the Carbuerator. If it's an internal problem, it's cheaper to roll the mower to the curb and buy a new one.

Cooter's right on this one. And im not sure if Honda actually does make their own mower engines, but 90% of pushmowers, regardless of brand are powered by a briggs and straton, so whatever solace you take knowing you bought that troy built over the walmart brand is nothing more than a placebo :lol2:
