Speaking of muschamp. I can't remember even him blowing a 21-0 lead.

Here is your first problem.

And your second. Are you serious? It's a game that has no bearing on your life. You are right, step away from the game.

Some of you are so holier than now. Telling me how I should behave. I already called myself out.

Thanks though. You're a stellar guy.

I'm wasting so much energy - and I'm way too invested in the outcomes of these games. The product has been absolute garbage for 6 years. I was hoping that Mac could turn around the program. The defense is going to take a massive step backwards next year due to recruiting and as long as Nuss is calling plays we are going to be abysmal on offense.

The point of watching our beloved Gators play is to see competency and have fun game days where we enjoy what we see. Neither is happening.

Regardless of whether Mac is the answer or not, our offense has been straight garbage under Nuss. After the 10-15 scripted plays that begin every game, he goes absolutely stupid in his play calls. 3 pass plays in a quarter and half? Are you kidding me?

Wake me up when he's been canned and I'll turn the television back on.
Glad to hear it. Hopefully that means you'll stop posting here too.

Call me a :pumper:all you want, but lets look at the facts. First we have an easy road to the east compared to bUTtchug. They still have Bama, and aTM. I think they lose both of those! That means we have to beat a bad LSU, Georgia, MIZZU teams, and pull of a win against the Hogs to pretty much lock up the East. Yes me may get creamed again in the SECCG, but that is what we were thinking at the beginning of the season. We are just trading the L for LSU with Tenn so I think we have a good shot.

You're right. We may still win the East. But, unless we can get our act together and play competitively against good teams it will be as meaningless as winning the East last year.

I know Mac won't fire Nuss unless he absolutely has to, but I hope Mac at least puts him back in the press box so he can see better what the defense is doing. Not sure if it will make a difference but something has to change in the meantime.

I too am in favor of him being up in the press box. But more for logistics reasons in case we ever see another half like that.

On the one hand, they're just kids playing a game, when you boil it down to its essentials.

On the other hand, those kids deserve decent coaching, and they're not getting it.

Says the guy who's no longer watching NFL.
I'm not watching the NFL. I mean what I say. The only glimpse of it I've seen has been when its on the TV in an airport or restaurant that I happen to be in and I don't stop for a second to look at it.

And I mean it when I say some of the comments in this thread are down right embarrassing. You are either a Gator fan or you aren't. Nobody is happy when we play a crappy game and lose. But I'll be back watching next week because I'm a Gator fan. I was a Gator fan long before we had a single SEC championship and a national championship was nothing but a fart in the wind, and I'll be a Gator fan tomorrow and next year and the year after that. And yes, have perspective. We aren't going to win every game. Did anybody think we were going to have an undefeated championship season? We didn't just lose to Georgia Southern, we lost to a ranked team on the road in front of over 100,000 loud fans. Geez, step down off the ledge! Its one thing to say we need better playcalling or we need to un-screw our special teams or whatever, but these comments about giving up on the whole program etc are over the top. Welcome to the internet I guess.

Good lord Dan, get over yourself. It's the players duty to play, they get a free education and a chance to play in the pros for millions in exchange for their efforts. It's the coaches job to coach, they are paid small fortunes to do so, even the mehh ones at that level.

It's their dang job that they are well compensated for. Sorry but it's not fans job to watch them if their product sucks. You start paying me money or giving me a free education to watch and then you can talk about quitting. Until then your comment is completely off base and totally illogical.
Hey Durty, you know I love you, but guess what....the players and coaches on the other side of the ball are in the same situation. They are getting free educations and the chance to make millions of pro dollars and they spend gobs of money on facilities and coaches too.

I didn't watch many games in chump's final year. It was what it was. If I could catch a game, I would pop in, see the same crap, and then do something else. Just numb.

The difference with Mac is that he provided HOPE with the wins early last year and then the comeback vs Tennessee and the total domination vs Ole Miss. We knew Grier only had ONE good game but we resigned ourselves to Treon being the issue late last year - ALTHOUGH that was on Mac as well since he NEVER REPLACED Treon.

I ended up in the same boat DVR'ing games and only watching when I was by myself so nobody got inflicted with my tantrums and disappointment. Didn't watch live, found better things to do with my time.

However, your last point about the end of last season being on Mac for not replacing Treon. With Who? There was NOBODY else left to play QB.

I think it is more of a professional move so cameras don't catch Mac choking the everlovin' sht outta him on the sidelines.

And?

Let me put it this way. How many games have we lost in the last few years? How many? Have I ever stated that because we lost I'm done? Nope. And I didn't state that today. I stated that the product on the field is garbage. That is why I'm over it. I can handle losing, hell we've been handling it for dang near a decade and had some bad seasons a bit before this as well. There's always going to be a winner and loser in a game, I think most of us can handle that fact. But a lot of us are tired of the WAY we are losing. We aren't simply losing because we fought hard, played well but came up short or simply got beat by a better team. We are losing because the recruiting blows, coaching isn't a lot better, in game management is deficient, adjustments seem almost non existent, and a lot of our players run their mouth a lot harder than they play the game. It all points to a poor product. It's not about losing, its about something more important.
