Has the LSU AD stopped giving interviews since the announcement was made? A completely transparent public relations offensive designed to make LSU look like the gracious, all suffering, neighbor trying to lend a helping hand. According to him LSU was willing to agree to any and every scenario to get the game played. Did he really think that law enforcement resources in Florida would be back to normal by Sunday so they could just fly in, play and fly out? Obviously UF was also trying to protect their own self interests as well but to make this decision sound so one sided is totally self serving.

I'm in the "play in the Swamp Sunday or Monday" group, however...let me get this straight; so we're the bad guys for trying to get LSU to play on the 19th, making them give up a home game and playing three road games in a row (lest we forget that by buying out Presbyterian we would give up a home game as well), yet it's perfectly fine if we were to play in corndog land, in the process giving up a home game, playing three road games in a row and likely playing at LSU three years in a row? Essentially punishment for something out of our control?

They can get fakk'd as far as I'm concerned.

The problem with the LSU statements is that the decision wouldn't be just between LSU and UF, but the SEC. It seems odd, unlike the situation with USCe a last year, they would have been silent about offering to host the game until after the decision was made. Just seems more like media pandering unlike last year, where they were front and center about the issue before the decision was made.

One has to wonder how the FSU/Miami game is being played. oh, and the Dolphins game too. I doubt FSU and Miami have any kids from FL on it.

"However, for Sankey to wait until Thursday to make a decision that was clear to everyone with air in their lungs — and without an agenda — on Tuesday, is inexcusable. It is easy to be the SEC commissioner and deliver a prepared speech at Media Days in July. It is easy to pass out big checks at the spring meetings in Destin. It is easy to sit in a suite and shake hands at athletic events around the league.

When a leader proves his mettle, however, is when he is faced with a tough choice knowing he can’t please everyone, but makes a decision and sticks to it. Sankey, faced with his first real turbulence in the seat he has occupied since June 2015, failed.

Instead of making a decision, he stalled. He folded as Foley strong-armed him throughout the week, delaying a final decision on when and where the Florida-LSU game would be played."

I don't think the Miami area was ever in the main crosshairs of the impending storm. It appears to have impacted South Florida in quite a different manner, i.e. not much impact.

Frangie is a Gator homer...Moscona is Tiger homer. The national media is taking LSU's side. Been listening to it. I hate Rome but because of commercials I switched to him...he was lambasting the SEC for not rescheduling the game in a timely manner.
Yes, and you picked the story by the Tiger homer and are now talking about Rome blasting the SEC, not LSU or UF, so you're switching your narrative now?
