This was really funny until I realized it is probably true.Yes. Almost as much as the "Anzalone Hurt in Practice" thread soon to follow.
Its his last game in a more bitter than sweet career. Admirable. He could easily sit it out.
Wouldn't it be beneficial for him to stay another year? He'd be the star on defense and could show NFL teams that if he stays healthy the whole year they don't have to worry about old injuries/durability.I'm not sure Anzelone is entering the draft this year. He's never finished an entire season. Unless he does amazing things at the combine I don't think he'll get drafted in one of the early rounds.

True. Imo, he's probably going to enter the draft. I assume people in the know are telling him his draft stock is relatively high. It's just hard to wrap my head around why an NFL team would take somebody who is so injury prone and hasn't played much at all. I guess they see the potential/size tho.I don't think it would be. The NFL already has good tape on him. And he had an excellent junior year. He'll probably be drafted in the first three rounds off of that. If he stayed another year his game will get nitpicked (as all seniors do) and if he gets hurt again he won't get drafted.
What are you talking about? He is a junior and already has another year of eligibility. Why not apply for the medical hardship? Get one more year of scholarship money, further your degree / resume,
His injury this year was a freak thing, someone falling on his forearm.and potentially be the star on defense next year propelling yourself into draft talk for 2018 if you can play the whole year injury free.
