Thanks for this.. I was just trying to get my hopes up that we would pull of some great recruiting and maybe the staff isn't as bad as we think... you know... trying really hard with orange and blue glasses... then I read this and everything just crashes back down to reality!

With writers, there is always a bandwagon to ride. Now, that wagon seems to be MacnCrew are the very worst
at recruiting; so, any fiction you make up will get traction. They get read because they're preaching to the choir.
Getting read is their guiding unprinciple.

Yeah, it's on 247....he's going to take an online course and enroll in May. So he'll be here a semester before the other freshman. Too bad he's missing spring as the CB spot is wide open for a freshman to take.

Florida was expecting Miami (Fla.) Southridge cornerback Shawn Davis to enroll in classes this semester. GatorBait.net learned from sources that the 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect was not on campus as of Wednesday afternoon.

247Sports' Ryan Bartow was able to confirm with sources at Southridge High that Davis will be taking an online class after falling short of the credits needed to enroll at the University of Florida this month. The plan is for Davis to join the Gators in May following the completion of his remaining course.

Davis committed to Florida over hometown Miami back in August. His lone official visit this fall was to Gainesville in mid-December, just before the dead period began. The 247Sports Composite, an industry generated average, currently ranks Davis as the nation's No. 50 cornerback in the 2017 class.

Head coach Jim McElwain has announced four early enrollees at this time -- offensive tackle Kadeem Telfort, tight end Kemore Gamble, athlete Kadarius Toney, and defensive tackle Kyree Campbell. While McElwain has not announced James Houston as an early enrollee, sources tell GatorBait.net that the linebacker is on campus

Thought they were looking at Davis to possibly move over to Safety where there's more of a need. I don't think Davis would be that Freshman taking a CB spot - more than likely it would be Blades or Wilson, IMO.

This is why we always end up with nobody. This staff has no self or situational awareness at all. Mac cant consistently close and compete with the bigs but keeps thinking he can, and worse, that he can do so by coming in at the last minute. Not only is this stupid but these dorks are confident enough in their stupidity that they slow play talent at positions of dire need in the process. This staff will get fired this year for gross negligence and not a single one of them will have even had a clue that their jobs were in jeopardy lol.

These dudes have to be drunk 75% of the time and on coke...that would be the only explanation for the stupidity we're currently witnessing. We'll end up with a total of 4 true DT'S on the roster...watch!
