Franks is still trying to force things at times. Looks like maybe he's at least learned to try to err on the side of caution...
Agreed, he's still green. It'll be a process, but I fully expect him to be ready to go come fall.

Ready to back up Trask you mean.
It does seem more natural to Trask, but he acts like he's just happy to be there. If he doesn't get past that, it's definitely Franks job to lose. 13 is gonna be a gamer. Looking forward to watching him lead the Gators in the fall.

The good news is its Spring Practice and Foley finally achieved ABSOLUTELY ZERO interest in Gator football.

Enough people have finally turned it off altogether, even the zealots, that Im sure the AD is getting almost none if those pesky calls demanding a championship coach.

I want to turn off all interest myself.

Ive seen this with my former favorite MLB and NBA teams. Once the fans turn off all interest, its almost impossible to lure them back.

I don't know that it's a breakdown. The LB follows the underneath route but he pulls up near the end, which means it could be a matchup zone. I'm not that good with Sabans type of matchup zone. Could be a cover 2 and he hit the soft spot. Maybe Putu was supposed to go vertical with the route but I can't tell from what little clip we have. If it's actually man, obviously, Putu should have gone with the out route.
Also, sometimes they coach the kids to show mistakes to the QB to allow him to learn to read it.

BTW, that LB is a giant. Is he really a LB or some walkon lineman forced into that duty because of lack of depth?

edit: 84 Kamrin Knight.

Safety is Garrett Stephens, maybe? Who knows.

Definitely a mix up. I'm thinking it was straight man because the LB would have dropped into the curl area if it was supposed to be a zone, but instead follows his man. Putu not sure what he is doing, but he definitely isn't playing man, nor is he squatting on a route for a pick with help over the top..He just kinda floats in the flats which isn't his assignment. You could be right though about the the coaches telling him to just float in the flats and see if the QB can make the very simple read.

Lmao.
Do dislikes really hurt your feelings that much?
Why do you care? No one gives out more dislikes than swampass donkey, but who cares? Not to mention mjm was disliking most of my posts from the get go in this thread. I get them and give them back, but that was probably too complicated for you to figure out, so I'll give you a pass this time ;)

Man some of you in the sports forum are such pansies, this crap is hilarious. :rotfl:

Now let's get back to talking football, and how only a complete imbecile would think LDR will be the starting QB against Michigan.
I'm just saying, you're going full on meltdown mode while claiming everyone else is butthurt. Not a good look. I guess that point went right over your head like everything else.

Really I'm not at all. This just shows how overly seriously some people take this board, so much so that they can't handle getting back what they give.
I'm having fun, and enjoying watching people lose thier minds for no reason.
Don't be ridiculous sas, you know I don't take what idiot dumpers say seriously.

The irony of you accusing anyone of a meltdown after what you did in the PF is actually the funniest thing I've read in a long time :lol2:
Thanks for that.

Now let's get back to talking football, and how those good kids working hard in practice are going to make a difference this year. I'm proud of Franks and Trask. They are earning it, and they'll do just that.

I'm completely interested in this team and their practices. We've got some real talent on this team. Though fairly young and inexperienced, they are going to do good things. Who wouldn't be interested in that?

I got that article emailed to me too jay... it came with a 2nd article that stated emphatically that Franks is the clear cut #1 and its not close right now. It was written by the same guy. Lesbi honest, its just authors throwing stuff against the wall for offseason clicks.
