Give me a friggin break... That girl and her whole damn family is crazy as hell... She intentionally slighted him... His hand was already up to high five and she snubbed him. (No sportsmanship or respect whatsoever).

So on split second impulse, he patted her on the shoulder instead. It wasn't a shove, or a slap, or a knock. It was a pat on the shoulder ... and I'd be willing to bet he followed it up by saying, "good game".

Now of course, he has to come out and publicly apologize for something she instigated.

Where is her public apology for literally pushing an "adult" and "coach"??? Where is her apology for nearly starting a brawl and having to be restrained by her teammates??? All because a coach patted her on the shoulder to say good game after she snubbed him???

Screw that! This is everything that is wrong with the upcoming generation. No accontability whatsoever for their own actions... Hell, even my 21 year old son says he hates his generation and calls them a bunch of disrespectful, unaccontable, safe space pvssies... And him apologizing and our own fans saying he is to blame, only serves to reinforce HER BAD BEHAVIOR...

I don't care that she intentionally snubbed him. He is a f'n adult. She is a college kid. He should act like an adult and not lower himself to her level. He was correct to apologize. He is an adult and should have handled it better.

Did you watch the video???

What the f' did he really do??? She instigated and escalated the entire event... SHE should be apologizing and if I were her coach, I'd bench her ass for her bahavior.

This was talked about on local DC morning sports show as well. They mentioned that the girl was a sister of the two other girls who were kicked off the UF team by Walton and said the Auburn girl was a psycho. They didn't fault the UF coach at all. Was good to hear.

What's the back story on the sister's dismissal? I remember when it happened but never got a "story" on it, just the company line comment.

I did and I couldn't tell if he saw that her hand was down or not, but it looked to me like he hit her in the shoulder on purpose... not hard, but I don't think he just missed a "high five".

Yeah... she instigated by not putting her hand up, but so what... if he just keeps his hand up and doesn't hit her then this is a non-issue. He is the adult.

Everything is being blown out of porportion per usual. It was a slight nudge from Walton (I think he knew what he was doing) and then a slight shove from Fagan. Nobody was hurt or anything so there's really nothing to see here, move along.

He doesn't come across as naively bumping her shoulder on accident, and he had to know who she was. Dumb move CW.

Hit her? Puulllleeeaaassseee......

First of all, I'm sure if he could do it over again he would have steered clear of that psycho beyotch.

Secondly, you're admitting you're not sure what his intentions were. But we well know what hers were. Yet, you are putting all the onus on our coach. Screw that... She was the one who acted poorly. She snubbed him in a show of poor sportmanship. She pushed him in the back. She was the one who had to be restrained... While our coach cooly and calmly walked away. Yet... you say, HE should have handled it better.

I'm not exactly sure what you want from him? I'd be willing to bet this kind of thing rarely, if ever happens. In a second, I mean a split second, he's walking by and slapping hands... and then in a split second some bratty beoytch drops here hand and refuses to be congenial... "IF" he "meant" to do anything it was probably on impulse of not knowing what to do.... So he congenially "pats" her shoulder and says good game.... Then she pushes a COACH from behind and damn near starts a riot....

But yeah... he should have handled it better... :jerkit:

She should be benched and made to publicly apologize...Instead she'll probably be proclaimed a martyr...The pussification of America continutes.

Coach needs to be more aware of the situation. She is psycho so AVOID her. SHe did not have her hand up for obvious reasons. He can't put his hands on her no matter how innocent. He should of just kept walking and been the bigger person. Ignore her and keep walking.

Edit: He extends his arm - that was no "pat" on the shoulder. The optics are bad and he should and did apologize. Time to move on.

Good that should end it, after all it should be the players being talked about. And as I understand it no riot occurred either.

It is up to their coach to do whatever he decides to address her behavior, our coach was perfect in his statement, factual and respectful as adults must be.

After reading the title, my first thought was, "I didn't know he's a Muslim!"
