If we win it all, I'll be the first one to congratulate Sully for getting over the hump. Once you win one, they can't take it away.

Saying that, I put our chances of winning it all at 1 in 746 billion.

So, in your opinion, winning a National Championship is 'getting over the hump'?

Another nice win for the good guys. We seem to be finally be getting some breaks in Omaha. A foul pole homer, a bloop single, those things seem to happen against us. Great 6 innings by Singer and a gutsy 7th. Don;t mind Sully leaving him in but begs the question why did Sully not leave Singer in against Wake in game 1 in the 9th when he had been even more dominant? Still not hitting a ton, but the timeliness of the hits has been huge, so another good break for us. Would love a big day from Kowar Friday so Faedo does not have to pitch Saturday but that would be 5 whole days rest which is plenty. Clean up the small things still and we should be good to go next week!

It would be unprecedented in program history. It would be a hilarious gig on the Noles whose tournament woes are legend. Have we ever had this much consistent success? Enjoy the ride & yes, celebrate a championship.

Keep scoring 3+ a game and we cruise to the final. Oregon State is a ****ing buzzsaw, it would be sweet to win our first against them, but frankly, I'd be shocked if we didn't go two and out against them.

Crazy things happen in baseball, it's the ultimate game of inches, but I would be beyond shocked if Oregon St. didn't win it all. You don't go 56-4 in baseball by accident.

Baseball "wins" for that "winner-on-paper" less than any other sport -- so brace for it. If your team is considered #1 then
that team probly has a 65% likelihood of winning out. You never know when one particular player will be the "unstoppable" determiner of the series (a pitcher, a HR hitter, even a decisive base runner, etc.).

All that is what makes the CWS worth extra to watch. Suppose Alabama was "in baseball" like they are in FB. This Omaha thing is fan-tastic. All us will be watching on the edge of our seats and cheering Gators on to victory. Like wishing all ya'll Happy Birthday, I wish all ya'll many happy returns (RBIs) in our upcoming adventures. We've got what it takes.

PS>> Any news on Maldanado's condition = 75%-100% ?? He gets the "sweet-spot" of his bat on the pitch most often.

According to Ox, yes. Win a NC twice, and you are a God to be loved beyond any reproach. See Meyer.

Wasn't he one of the people complaining incessantly about Tim Walton during this year's WCWS?
