Georgia: Defensive line coach Tray Scott’s contract is a 2-year deal worth $400,000 annually, with a $65,000 signing bonus, according to the AJC.

Arizona State: The school has opted not to extend Todd Graham’s contract by one year, as it has done annually in the past, according to AZCentral. Graham’s current contract has four years left. This is the first time Graham is under contract at ASU for less than five years. Graham is 39-26 at ASU, but coming off two straight losing seasons. His buyout if ASU makes a change 100 percent of the remainder of his annual salary, which is currently $3.2 million. AD Ray Anderson said the contract wasn't rolled over "because it didn't need to be rolled over."

LSU’s pressure on other in-state schools hosting satellite camps has struck again.

Several out-of-state schools have seen satellite camps at Louisiana schools canceled in part due to political pressure from LSU on in-state schools. The most recent involves Hal Mumme at Belhaven, which was set to hold a camp this week at a high school and include Texas, Houston and others.

After Sports Illustrated wrote about the camp and the pressure, the camp was canceled. SI’s Pete Thamel reported Mumme was unhappy with Ed Orgeron, and the cancelation costs Belhaven $5,000. It’s the third satellite camp in Louisiana involving Texas that has been canceled in recent weeks.

Michigan State has lost seven projected starters this offseason, and could lose another.

A combination of legal issues, academic issues and coaching decisions have seen an exodus from East Lansing, coming off a 3-9 season. The school has issued support for Mark Dantonio in wake of sexual assault charges against four now-former players. Athletic director Mark Hollis says he always focuses on three areas when evaluating a program: athletic success, academic success and social behavior.

"2016 was a difficult year in all three," Hollis told MLive.com. "My expectations are that it will not continue. … (Dantonio has) done it before and I have confidence he can do it again.”

Mike Gundy’s raise and extension are complete after an awkward year.

In June 2016, the school announced a 2-year extension for Gundy. But there was a problem: Gundy never agreed to it. This week, the school announced Gundy has signed a new 5-year deal. The previous extension would’ve paid him $4.15 million annually. This deal will pay him $4.2 million, with $125,000 annual raises. The length is the same and the money isn’t much different, but it will be an annual rollover contract.

The real question is what this new deal means for amenities like staff salaries and recruiting budgets, where OSU has been behind. Gundy said in April those needed to get to at least the top half of the league. In the press release, Gundy says the school is making a long-term commitment.

“In comparison to the league, I need (assistant pool) to be in the middle of the pack,” Gundy said in April. “I think they've earned that with what we've accomplished in football. We need recruiting budgets to be in the top three or four in the league. Otherwise, it becomes difficult for me, to convince myself, to convince young people, that we can continue to do this or take the next step.”

June 15 was a big day for the Alabama and Auburn recruiting departments, as both schools hired female recruiting directors of operations.

Mollie Moore will serve as the head of the recruiting department at Auburn after a couple of years at Georgia:

Both Knight and Moore graduated from the schools they are now working for, so it’s safe to say it’s pretty close to a dream job for them.

Knight previously held the same post at Colorado State before heading to Tuscaloosa. She worked on Alabama’s student recruiting team as recently as 2013.

Moore has a stop at UAB on her resume as well.

With the way both schools are able to recruit, it’s safe to say both Knight and Moore will keep things running smoothly at their alma maters.

Ruffin McNeill says Lincoln Riley was the only coach he was going to leave Virginia to work for.

McNeill and Riley worked together at Texas Tech, and McNeill brought Riley to ECU as a 26-year-old offensive coordinator. Now, the 33-year-old Riley hired McNeill to coach defensive tackles at Oklahoma.

“I was very happy at Virginia,” McNeill told Fox Sports. “Bronco (Mendenhall) is a great coach, and great person, and he’s gonna win there. I had my best friend (UVA OC Robert Anae) coaching on the other side of the ball there. Lincoln was the only person that I would leave there for.

“(When he was my OC at East Carolina) he turned down three or four jobs to stay. Some would’ve paid him double and one of them would’ve paid him triple of what I could pay him. That’s loyalty."

Oklahoma: Lincoln Riley’s head coaching contract is a 5-year deal worth $3.1 million in 2017, with a $200,000 raise each year and a $500,000 retention bonus each June 1. Fox Sports reports the deal is fully guaranteed. In addition, offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh has received a $110,000 raise to $535,000 annually on a deal through 2019, and new defensive tackles coach Ruffin McNeill's contract is a 2-year deal worth $560,000 annually. Bob Stoops will earn $325,000 as a special assistant to the athletic director.

Oklahoma has put a lot behind Lincoln Riley with his new contract.

Riley will earn $3.1 million on a 5-year deal, with $200,000 annual raises and $500,000 retention bonuses. That will get him near the $4 million mark quickly, without yet having coached a game, and the school having leverage at this time of year.

Fox Sports also reports the deal is “fully guaranteed” and could be the largest guaranteed deal for a first-time head coach, though it’s not clear if that’s only base salary or the whole amount. Riley has turned down interest for several head coaching jobs, and Oklahoma is going all-in with him. This isn’t a one-year interim tryout. He’s got the whole program for years to come.

Oklahoma: Defensive coordinator Mike Stoops has received a $20,000 raise to $920,000, running backs coach / special teams coordinator Jay Boulware received a $45,000 raise to $400,000, inside linebackers coach Tim Kish received a $15,000 raise to $370,000, defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks received a $35,000 raise to $485,000, inside receivers coach Cale Gundy received a $40,000 raise to $430,000, and defensive ends coach Calvin Thibodeaux received a $10,000 raise to $260,000. Boulware, Kish and Thibodeaux have one-year deals, while the others have two-year deals.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Per source, LSU player personnel analyst Brian Squeglia has accepted a scouting assistant job with the Jaguars. Squeglia spent one year at LSU after two years at Mississippi State.

Cal: Head coach Justin Wilcox’s salary has been finalized. Per the San Jose Mercury News, Wilcox has a 5-year deal that will average $1.9 million annually, the lowest in the Pac-12. That includes a $250,000 annual base salary and a guaranteed talent fee that starts at $1.25 million and increases annually to $2.5 million, along with a $100,000 hiring bonus. The buyout owed if Wilcox is dismissed is 100 percent of the remaining base salary and talent fee. Among the bonuses, there is a $25,000 bonus if he beats Stanford and $325,000 if he wins eight games.

Michigan: Former NFL running back Alfonso Smith has joined the Michigan staff as assistant running backs coach, but not as a full-time on-field assistant. Smith played in the NFL from 2010-14, including the final year under Jim Harbaugh with the 49ers.

-USF/Charlie Strong getting some Phil Steele love:

Phil Steele: “The team I think is going to make the New Year’s Six is South Florida. I don’t think they have any chance of making the (playoff). I like the talent Willie Taggart left for Charlie Strong. You look at the size and speed in the defensive front seven and the secondary. The schedule, toughest game of the season, maybe Houston at home? Tulsa? I think South Florida runs the table and gets that New Year’s Six bid."

-Willie Taggert:

ESPN’s Tom Luginbill on Oregon: “This job is a bigger challenge than it was three or four years ago. They’ve lost some of their cool factor, people have caught up to some degree, the on-field product hasn’t been as strong. You bring in Willie Taggart, who assembled a terrific staff. In the year’s we’ve ranked classes, Oregon’s never finished in the top 10. They’ve only been in the top 20 three times. This is a class poised for a top-15 finish, potentially. They are making a big statement.”

-Dantonio and Sumlin could be on the hot seat?

Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples on Texas A&M: “The best and worst thing to happen to A&M was beating Alabama in 2012, because it solidified you made the right choice going to the SEC, the fans will love it. But it also raised expectations to the point where they thought they should be competing with Alabama every year. Well, that’s really hard to do. They’re a program that is very average in the SEC. You did not pay all that money to renovate the stadium, the coach, to be 4-4 in the SEC.”

SiriusXM’s Chris Childers on Mark Dantonio: “I don’t think of him the same as I did a year ago. … (Last year), I go into his office, and based on my facial expression, you’d think I was meeting Elvis, because the guy went 13-1, 11-2, 12-2, played in the playoff at Michigan State, and I think he’s the second coming of Vince Lombardi. But then he goes 3-9, 1-8 in the Big Ten, and I find myself guilty of thinking differently about Mark Dantonio.”

Charlie will do great in Tampa, but I see this job as a stepping stone for him. He's going to rebuild his reputation as a HC after the Texas debacle. After that a bigger program will come calling.

I won't be surprised at all for us to be heading to Memphis while watching UCF, USF, Scum and Clown Town heading to New Years Day Bowls.

Hey, at least we're still ahead of FIU for now.

If Mac doesn't work out, we should go all in with Scott Frost. He is a rising star in the ranks. With the talent he could get at Florida, we'd be pretty good. Our luck the Cornhuskers will call him home.
