Zambo just floated the idea of me announcing live Gator games, something people could tune into during games and listen to while muting whatever schmucks are on TV. Random GCMB guests could be invited on throughout the season.

Still no idea how it would actually be done.....any ideas are welcome. YouTube live?

You could still hear Mick. You just watch the TV, listen to the radio and have the computer on with your favorite knuckleheads commenting on the game. I would think anybody who likes the chatbox would also like this deal. Think Mystery Science Theater 3k but instead of B movies the subject is a Gator game.

I think it would be good. I did a little color on the radio for a playoff game one year and really enjoyed the experience. I think I. Was more Scot Brantley than Lee McGriff. Probably the best thing I did was not curse, which went against my competitive nature. I think you'd likely be better received if you'd man up and drink a couple of tall Buds prior to air time.

Would this have to include JBoss? He seems to shout a lot - kind of Tourette-ish
It could be a weekly thing where we open up jboss' mic for about 2 minutes at the first commercial break in the 4th quarter.

Is there not a timing issue, there is with radio vs TV.

I would think that the internet radio would lag the live action. The way to counter this as a listener is to freeze your tv for a few seconds so the radio sound syncs with the game. However, I know guys that do online gaming don't have a lot of lag with their voice audio so who knows?

Anyway I don't think the commentary would really amount to play by play, it would just be smack talk, cheering, and complaining after the play so perfect sync wouldn't really be a factor IMO
