Honestly, I believe he's doing the right thing for himself with his college selection. I'm sure he is absolutely enjoying the process, but I don't get the feeling from him that he is being a diva about it. Reality is, he is earning all the attention he is getting.

I agree with this. He is the #1 rated recruit in the country so the recruiter services and reporters are all over him and following everything he does. I don't see him out there tweeting and trying to pull the attention. I think he is trying to figure out where he wants to go and look at all options. I think he is enjoying the process. He committed to Penn St and I think he realized he did that way too early and wants to make sure the next time he commits it is the last. Good for him!

He'd have to or the NCAA could pull his eligibility. Floyd had to sit out because they had a bake sale for him so he could travel. Now maybe there is some gray area or creative way to get there that I don't know about. However, I don't think his family is poor, either.

My point is you aren't going from PA to LA for fun on your own dime. Corrals decommittment opened a slot there. Watch out for them. I think we're out for Fields. Meaning he's seriously considering them not just enjoying the process.

Fields took recent visits to Georgia, Auburn and Florida State and is coming off a two-day visit to Florida. He has obviously seen Penn State and also took a visit to USC a few weeks back according to sources.

Going everywhere is reasonable for a recruit of his level, it is where he will be on specific dates that is more telling to me.

I am using hyperbole but recruits have talked about the spreads at FSU during recruiting...BBQ and fried chicken, etc. We gave him a freaking kiddie party. It was lame and shows how disgustingly awful Mac is at recruiting. That kid gave us first crack. The number one recruit in the land(top 3 at the time I think) and we roll out a pizza party. GTFO MAC! If we had anyone with some panache we would be killing it at UF. 1.4 more years and we're done with "Atta boy" Mcelwain.
