Some of your dumpers live in fantasy where you just make up whatever pops in your head.
Really? So being the one who keeps saying it isn't that big of a deal that a freshman (especially a freshman who was a major project to begin with) isn't ready to play is living in fantasy?

You're losing it man

You saying that about Franks doesn't negate all the things you've made up about so called "pumpers" (aka anybody who doesn't want Mac fired immediately).

At least some of which may or may not be just to irritate people.

I wrote the Athletic Association an email praising their hiring of Mac. I love how he conducts himself on and off the field. He's a great ambassador for the university and does a great job molding young men. I asked that they give him a 10 yr extension at whatever costs. I told them that everyone I spoke with loved Mac and they don't want to see him leave.

He got freaking Jamarcus Russell, Ponder and Manuel all drafted in the 1st Rd.

It is true they are all were drafted in the first round of horrible qb drafts

Christian Ponder 2011 draft: quarterbacks drafted ahead of him: Cam Newton, Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert (killers row)
EJ Manuel 2013 draft, quarterbacks taken ahead of him: 0 (but he was still the 13th pick in the draft, only quarterback taken in the 1st)
Jamarcus Russell 2007 draft, other quarterbacks in the 1st round, Brady Quinn

The teams that drafted these quarterbacks are teams that were desperate and poorly managed at the time. Christian Ponder (questionable managed Vikings team), EJ Manuel, Bills who still haven't gotten out of their own way at the position since Jim Kelly, and the Raiders in 2007 no evidence is needed for that (see post 2004 Al Davis).

Secondly if these players were talented enough to get drafted in the first round why did they under perform. Did a career breakdown of every quarterback he has coached on another thread, you can look it up.

He's had top 50 offenses 6 of his 7 years as a HC including 5 straight years. 2 in the 10.

This is where I know Gator fans are desperate they are cheering a guy who has gotten into the top 50 for offense with some of the most talented offensive players in the Nation every fcking year.

He's 17-10 vs the top 25. That's over quarter of his schedule at 28% and the ACC is getting stronger. In the last 7 years we've played 90 games and went 8-24 vs the top 25.

He is 17-10 against the top 25,

2010 2-2 (wins Scum, USCe)(loses: Oklahoma, VaTech)
2011 0-2 (loses Oklahoma, Clemson)
2012 2-1 (wins Clemson, Northern Illinois)(loses: UF)
RapistYears:
2013 5-0 (wins Maryland, Clemson, Scum, Duke, Auburn)
2014 3-1 (wins Clemson, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech)(loses: Oregon)
Post Rapist:
2015 1-2 (wins UF)(Loses: Clemson, Houston)
2016 4-2 (wins Ole Miss, Scum, UF, Michigan) (loses Louisville, Clemson)

His top 25 record doesn't take into account all the times his teams under performed againsts worse teams:
2010: North Carolina State, UNC
2011: Wake Forest, Virgina
2012: North Carolina State
2015: Lost to GaTech
2016: lost to North Carolina

As I have stated else where without Rapist what is his record? He is a 3-4 loss coach that plays only 1-2 teams each year with equal talent to his. As much as I may hate Rapist, he was a supremely gift college athlete surrounded by blue chip talent.

He is 8-1 with Rapist against top 25
He is 9-9 against top 25 without him. So he had a great two year run, but was average otherwise?

35% of our games were vs the top 25.

Has nothing to do with the argument for/against Jimbo.... unneeded information to dilute your argument.

I hate Dumbo with a passion but by every metric he's a great offensive coach.

Doesn't seem like that his "great Offensive" coach matches up with is history. Every other elite coach you can remove a couple or a few years and still see why they are elite. Not so much with Jimbo

If our offense looks like @ss again this year, you're gonna see a lot of people around here calling for his firing. I'm a patient man. I understand it takes a little bit of time to rebuild a program left in the condition Muschamp left UF. But I don't have infinite patience. Things need to look like they're improving in year 3. If they don't, I think that's enough proof he isn't going to get it done here.

Stricklin's gonna fire Mac and install Foley as interim HC ... and our offense will finish games real early.

This whole section really says a lot. If you really look at the fact that you are talking TOP 25 here and FSU generally has Top 5 talent/recruiting. The realization that his record is 9-9 without Jameis and most of that is against teams that have less talent (based on recruiting) says a ton!

Shhhh... there are certain posters on this board that are big Fisher fans... they don't like that point brought up... because he is an Offensive Guru to them.

The particular poster you were responding to is just a Cane troll, but you are correct in general. Nice work on that response.

I'm all for firing Mac right now but only IF we have a slam dunk replacement with the offensive mind of Spurrier, the managing ability of Saban and the recruiting ability of Meyer. Rolling the dice right now doesn't make a lot of sense. History shows that we are more likely to end up with another Zook/Chump/Mac. "Hate" firing isn't in our best interest. Chump really, really f'd us up bad (as I knew he would) because not only did we have to recover from the damage he did to the program we also had to have had a great hire after which we haven't. Stay the course for the next year or two and hope for a dream candidate. If that doesn't happen then we'll just have to role the fcvking dice again.

You can't fire him right before the season that would be stupid. I am however 100% on board with him being fired as early as week 6 if drastic improvement isn't shown.

Chip Kelly hired in the middle of a season with plenty of time to recruit and put together a staff is a huge upgrade over Mac.

In all fairness, the ham sandwich i had for lunch looks like an offensive guru compared to Butters Mc****Tooth

If that is the comparison to make a offensive guru, then Addazio would be in the running for offensive guru
