I left some details out of the story for length considerations and also because, like i said, the full deal was way worse than what i posted. But, as far as your comments go, I will say this. When I came home on leave, a military buddy of mine was dispatched from our unit shortly afterwards and showed up at the house. The unit had gotten word about the details of what went down through professional law enforcement contacts and were concerned about that very thing.

When I was presented with all the proof, that friend was required to be present and I wasn't allowed to be alone with my wife for the next few days. Was just as well, I had no intentions of dealing with her anymore at that point anyway. They were also concerned I might go after one or both of the dudes and I might have but I never met them nor knew anything about them other than their names in the police report.

I'm starting to believe some of you dudes were in the same Children First In Divorce(CFID)class I had to attend in Jax about 5 years ago.
Who the hell said(from an article I read) when a woman cheats on her husband, she cheats with someone who is more attractive, more physically fit, and more financially stable. Well, my ex proved that idiot wrong.
My youngest will graduate from High School in 2021. 4 more years and I'm done with child support. It got so much cheaper when my daughter graduated just 2 years ago.

I've never had an instance of a wife or girlfriend cheating, but I've always had the mindset that if I ever caught them I'd just tell the dude I hope it was good because she's leaving with you.

You have pretty good self control to have gone through that BS and not wanted to at least pound someone or something into the ground.....I often suspected in both my divorce and broken engagement there was cheating but I was never able to find evidence and quite frankly I was banging other women within weeks of each break up(a few days after the Latino) so that helped keep my mind from going there...

Sounds like you guys have a pretty terrible choice in women, though.
We were close to our late 20s when we got married. During our 15 year marriage, I somehow avoided temptation. I was the one who people waged on to commit physical adultery. I knew if I did, I would've been forever condemned by her parents and various relatives, along with relatives on my side of the family.
I could only imagine what it would have been like if I cheated on my ex. I felt guilty just even thinking about it. When she cheated on me, she cheated with someone whose wife ended up with some type of cancer. His mother ended up with health issues along with some firm of cancer. A woman he screwed ended up dying of cancer.
I can only guess God actually answered my prayers when I said I didn't want to raise the kids on my own. That may sound selfish but I would rather my ex help me raise the kids until the youngest started college. They were closer to mom since she was lenient toward them as I was.
I wouldn't say I had bad luck with the ex, she just made a sh***y decision. In the end, she pretty much did me a favor by granting me a divorce. To me, married life was/Is awesome. Right now, I'm content in my relationships. I would like to remarry, just not anytime soon.
Edit:
My bad. I forgot to mention, if you read my first post on this thread, that my ex herself was diagnosed with leukemia. It has totally changed her life as well as the way she lives it now. I will also say I'm thankful she is around to help me take care of our little s**ts.
I wanted some karma, but I would never wish cancer on my own worst enemy.

Most of y'all have heard my story...

I can't stand my X, don't even talk to her if I don't have to. She told me she didn't want to be married anymore 10 days after our 15th anniversary.
She didn't want anything, just didn't want to be married. I was messed up for about a year, not suicidal thoughts or anything, but it really destroyed me (everything I believed in was gone). It took a year and a half to work out the details before we finally signed the papers in a courtroom (on her birthday - back then she probably thought it was the best present ever). Once the ink dried, custody is 50/50, no alimony, no child support - either way. She pays half and I pay half of the kids necessities.

I don't dislike her because of the divorce, actually hope she has a great happy life, just no where near me or the kids. It's really done some rough mental things to the kids. Studies show that it's worse 5 years after than it is at the time of separation. I had a hard time believing it when I first read that, but now seeing that it's true (October will be 5 years). I should have taken full custody when I could have, but being the caring person I am, I split it with her. If I knew then, what I know now.

There is absolutely no discipline when they are with her, so the older 2 (17&18) can run to her house when they get in trouble. My youngest is 9 so he can't come & go when he wants to. I honestly feel like she just wants them around to say that she has kids. I think she loves them, but has no courage to discipline them. She's afraid they won't want to be with her if she does (likely thinks they'll run to my house instead of hers). She also wants to party her life away and kids tend to get in the way with that. It's tough being a parent, Wussies need not apply (do the world a favor & don't).

When I remarried, I'm certain she realized what she had done and that her "unhappiness" was not caused by me, but that she's just an unhappy person through & through. I feel very certain that she cheated as well, but I didn't go looking. Couldn't care less, and really wouldn't have mattered anyway. She did what I never would have, walked away (I would if I had caught her cheating, but not for any other reason).

You guys win in horrible marriages... I just happen to be a guy who believed that you should marry once, and with hard work you could have the 50+ year marriage. Silly me.

Marriage was a disaster for me.

Let's just say, it's hard being in the porn business. It's easy to lose track of who is giving or getting.

In college at UF, I married my high school sweet heart. I quickly came to my senses after several weeks and since we were both poor, broke college students.... we had a simplified dissolution of marriage about 1 month after the wedding. I think it costs $150. So every time time I give my wife a card or something, I always start it with: "To my favorite wife, "

Do you regularly leave the seat up too? :)
