You apparently don't see a pattern of bad decisions being made by him. He should be a team leader in a positive way not showing younger players how to beat the system, smoke weed, or anything else. From a selfish point of view he is costing himself millions by being stupid.

I see it as clearly as anyone else, he's made some bad choices. Nobody is debating that. The next bad choice he makes at UF will be his last. Also, I got news for a lot of y'all on here about the weed smoking. Calloway ain't the only guy on the team that smokes, probably half the team smokes the stuff. This ain't anything new, every player that chooses to smoke the stuff is putting himself before the team. We'd all like a team full of Tebows, but that ain't gonna happen.

In this recent case of "misappropriating UF's scholarship money", AC is a leader (whether he should be or not) = so if he led several underclassmen into money-fraud then he is a metastisizing cancer = needs to be chopped off.
By the way "misappropriation of bank-(UF)-funds" is an official term banks use to describe when a bank employee has taken some of your money - they just don't want it written that way, in case much-such comes to light to bank examiners.
I think AC's zero-notice of the right/wrong line makes him a shame to the UF name. Love his abilities on the field; hate his Anti-All American character.

I totally agree, he can not mess up anymore. This is his last chance, it's up to him if he wants to continue down this self destructive path and throw away an opportunity to make a lot of money in the NFL. He's already cost himself some of that money, no doubt. The hand holding time is over with him, it's time he matured and started acting like the leader he should be on this team.

NV probably has the best take on it. When viewed as a body of work, in roughly 2 years on campus, it's clearly enough to send him packing, and I'd be fine with that. The insanity approach of a 1-2 game suspension only further hurts the team, imo.

I think Mac should send Callaway packing. There are more important things in a team sport like this than how fast you can run or how high you can jump.

Extremely unlikely without a major change in his life. He's a Junior at this point. He's been told countless times thathe needs to make adjustments to attitude, association, etc. And he hasn't. I always love the, "Well, everyone else is doing it...." approach. I'll be sure to add that to my repertoire of parenting skills with my 3 & 4 year old boys.

The liberal mentality... the ends justify the means... everyone here works for a living, should be pretty obvious that no one is indispensable which we often learn after being fired... the kid needs that lesson at this point.

It always bums me out when kids don't take advantage of second chances and essentially spit in the face of those giving the benefit of a doubt

Mac said he isn't just going to give up on a kid because of public backlash. I think he has a point in a way since the 2 incidents weren't that huge as long as the other accusation was truly BS. Suspend his butt for 2 games and if it happens again immediately off the team.

And? The other "half" aren't dumb enough to get caught, nor are they dumb enough to say they were too stoned to commit a sexual assault.
He's a ****tard and he needs to go. He will NOT stay out of trouble no matter where he goes because he obviously isn't smart enough to understand there are consequences for his actions. Guys like him dont belong on scholarship. Once you find that out, you send him packing.
