Almost nary a drop of rain in Tampa. I mean it's raining. But barely. Like drizzling.

We were going outside for walks periodically until the Mediterranean tiles started coming through the lanai.. Hopefully we can keep electricity. Stay safe friends...

Hoping for a decent nights sleep tonight bc I know I won't sleep much tomorrow night. I have one xanax to get me through this. Ugh. Not looking forward to the next few days.
Bear up, Lass. Sas is gonna need you. Heard he's been singing the old George McRae tune (from my era) Rock Me Baby (Woman, take me in your arms, and rock me baby...). Seriously, you guys be safe. I know how frightening it must be. Pray that the good Lord protects everyone in harm's way.

Sounding like it may come up close to us here in Gadsden county. No gasoline or ice already, but grocery stores still open. Kate demolished us in '85 and a lot of people here still remember. Tropical winds so far, but not much rain. Waiting to see what tomorrow brings our way. Again, praying for the safety of all our members. There'll be some stories to tell in the days ahead.

Wind's picking up and there's a tornado watch till late morning, but otherwise it's quiet in Gainesville. We're waiting and watching.

I live near Tower Rd in Gainesville. The wind gusts have been incredible at times. The pond near my apartment is flooding into the parking lot now. Still have power though. Thank goodness.

I've seen some flashes of green lightning. Never seen anything like it before. No thunder. Just a couple of bright flashes of green in the clouds.

Radar says we are in worst of wind field NE of eye. Sounds horrific outside. No power so need daylight to see what outside looks like. House seems intact.
