And if he keeps it high and tight he would have a TD on that stat line. And yes he will get carries.

Wish he could hold on to the ball tighter
Agreed.... the same with Peerine and Thompson.

Since they all have fumbleitis, why dont we give it to the guy who runs best?

Also, why dont we threaten the RB coach. Obviously he isnt ensuruing they understand Ball security.

I love the stat....but he's also averaging 1 game changing fumble every 5 carries.

Just like the JUCO transfer, he needs to learn how to hang onto the ball.

How many fumbles does Thompson have this year? Last year?

The guy who needs his ass kicked is the receivers coach. They don't know how to separate and get open and they don't help the QB when he's scrambling. Give Franks some open people and he will move this offense.

Did Davis play again after his fumble? I'm not sure but he clearly is the best back active. Which means he will get 5 carries a game.

The RBs need to work on pass blocking including blitz pickup before anything. Too many wiffs yesterday.

True, he is terrible, but to be fair he ISNT even a legit P5 coach and has never actually been a WR coach at any level. The commentators are always talking about poor lazy routes with our guys.

Thompson? 1, I think.....and last year he had a few. What's the question here? They're all running backs. Hold onto the f*cking football! Especially when you're crossing the goal line!

What is my question? It couldn't have been clearer. How many fumbles has Thompson had this season and last? I was just too lazy to look it up. Anybody know?

He's going to be a stud. Gotta give credit to the UT defender who walked him down and made a great hustle play. That's the third time in the last two years (TAMU, GT, UF) they've had a DB force a fumble from behind on a long run late in the game while they were losing. And all three times, they answered with a touchdown. Butch is a horrific coach, but those kids play their asses off to the last whistle, which is commendable.

He had six in the spring game. Amazingly on only three carries.

You're right. The UT guy made a helluva play. I don't see how he caught Davis. He really made up some ground.

I need some help here. How many playmakers do we have on offense?

Davis
Callaway (when he's back)
Toney
Cleveland
Massey
Scarlett (maybe)
Franks with that arm

Why are we not scoring 40 points a game?

That's rhetorical, guys.

Well if he averages 40 yds per rush that 200 yds per game. I'll take it if he learns ball security.

Ok had to look it u

Ok got off my lazy azz and looked it up myself. He has not fumbled this year and had 2 last year. I don't think he has fumbled since he was put in the doghouse for a big one last year.

I thought he ran hard and still believe he has potential to help us in the run game. He seems to be the type of back that prospers with more carries. In the 3 games he had 10 or more carries last year he produced....36 carries for 209 yards. That's almost 6 yds a carry. I'd like to see one game with 20 attempts. I think he would pop one.

That said like seemingly all our backs has to improve pass protection and it remains to be seen if ball security is really an issue.
