For one, I don't appreciate links to his crap, but I clicked it so I'll take the blame.
What I get from him writing that is he reads GCMB, because there isn't that quality of insight/complaining on the Sun forums for him to pull from.
I do like the part where he says he's been there 30yr and deserves a gold watch or free subscriptions - to which I whole heartedly wish he did have an endless supply of his articles and playlists to peruse for the rest of his retired life. Or better yet, be unable to unsubscribe to the playlists and vacation memories from people he doesn't know.

I saw a quote this week from a coach who said this:

I'm not gonna read the article but wasn't there a video of himself at halftime last week being negative about the offense? I watched about 45 seconds bc the angle was straight up his nose and it was gross.

Winning pretty means you're playing effectively and doing the small things you are suppose to do. Like not blocking your own player or fumbling the ball through the end zone at the tail end of a 72 yard run, or throwing the ball into quadruple coverage while a man is running free down the sideline for an easy touchdown or missing 7 tackles on a 3rd and 17 or losing to a D-2 team at home who didn't throw a single pass. You know, things like that

I'm sure I'll get blasted for this but I like Pat. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to offer a podcast about my team; including the idiots from Gator Country.
I think he just tries to offer an alternative perspective with some of his articles. You know, as opposed to talking about firing the staff every single day...

Pat Dooley bends over backwards (if he's able to without being put in traction) to prove he's a "journalist" and not a homer, it's an easy way to loaf, coast and not do your job in a rabid college football town. If he doesn't like it he needs to move along.

We're spoiled? Who wouldn't be after the 20-year run we had? Are we're supposed to crawl back in a shell? Dooley's in a minority in terms of his opinion on the subject. Our offensive production speaks volumes.

The gatorcountry podcasts are god awful. Spivey barely speaks 4 words without having to take an air break and de la Torre is hammered 99% of the time and has no clue what he's talking about 100% of the time. Doesn't know players names, era they played, hell he probably doesn't even know he's being recorded
