Was a semi regular poster on the old GSMB. Moved to Chicago 6 years ago which ended a streak of attending at least one Gator game every year since1980. Kept the streak alive in 89 with the LSU game at Tiger stadium. I moved to LA after graduating the J school in broadcasting. I used to host dial a score on WRUF during the probation years. I am not nearly as obsessed as I was while at UF from 84-88. Call me a pumper...but I choose to pull for the Gators win or lose. One reason I don't post anymore is because of the debbie downers. ..those who choose to have selective memories...I cant imagine what this board would have been like after the Rutgers game...mississippi st...notre dame..sugar bowl vs miami...2001 Tenn...2005 Bama...just to name a few..or why SOS would sign a slow weak armed qb from the panhandle...you can choose to enjoy all our traditions and being a top 10 public university or micro manage everything negative...i choose to be proud of my university and enjoy the Gator ride of life. I don't blame you for being frustrated...i am frustrated...i respect everyone's opinion....i just dont agree with most on this board...cheers my fellow Gators...in all jibds of weather...see you at the Mizzou game

We have all kinds here. They aren't all dumpers or pumpers. I consider myself a realist. I was holding out for Mac to get things turned around this year since he finally had "his" QB, and more talent on the offense all around, but our offense hasn't shown any improvement at all. In fact, statistically, they're worse than the offenses Muschamp put on the field. That tells me Mac ain't the guy that can get it done. I hate that, because it means we'll have to start all over again with the rebuilding process. It sucks seeing my Gators look terrible. I want them to have better. They deserve better. I'm not a dumper. I gave Mac 3 years to show some improvement with our offense. He's failed to even show a tiny bit of improvement. Much less a decent offense. If you're still holding out for Mac, you really need to take your O&B glasses off and look again with unbiased eyes imo. This is not a well coached team. There's plenty of talent, they just aren't being put in a position to win, and that's not fair to those kids.

Rutgers...I was there. Damn.
I think everyone here pulls for, and hopes for, the Gators to win every game, even when some say, sometimes adamantly, that we'll get pounded.
The coaches pretty much get reamed. I think this is true on most message boards.
There are some with Xs and Os insight and some with great recruiting analysis.
There are a few I chose to put on ignore.
Take it for what it is...Gators that give a damn.
I, for one, have given up all hope.
But it's all good, as long as we beat the leg humpers next week.
