Okay, here's the story on Lifetime Supporting Memberships. From now until the end of the year, they are $75 a pop. As of January 1, 2018, Lifetime Memberships will no longer be offered - ever!

Annual memberships will still be offered for $15/year until December 31, 2017. On January 1, 2018, they will rise to $20/year.

For those who do not know, the benefits of a supporting membership are:

1) No ads, ever. On the desktop, on mobile, even on Tapatalk.
2) Cool "Supporting Member" banner under your name.
3) Access to the private Saloon section, where the rules are loosened just a bit.
4) Access to the chat box archives.
5) My perpetual love.

Ox is a good Christian man. I believe he'll have this site up for as long as we kick off on saturdays

It is just a common response to whoever says things like "forever" it had nothing to do with the specifics. Ox did a great thing when he started this website, I appreciate it, but I have a policy, no paying for anything on the internet. Free or not for me. Same policy for say books.

You’ve never purchased anything online? I rarely purchase anything in the store. The only two things that I do not purchase online are hardware items and groceries.

You're paying way too much for stuff then. The internet has the cheapest everything.

I purchase some physical things, actually mostly my wife. I don't pay for digital content or digital things.

No ebooks, but I do have Amazon prime and a library.

No music at all, I do get the free radio type offers.

No paying for newspapers, blogs, etc.

PS I already have most of the things that I want. I spend money on insurance, taxes, food, and utilities. A little for gas and some medical type things. Very little else.

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks to anybody who does pay for Ox to keep this place going.

I envy anyone who is content with what they have.

Buying stuff online is like a disease but I love it
