Who fvkking knows. Been a lot of it. Maybe they want Jamarr Chase's slot.

Butter's fat azz was dragging this class back down to his mean with all his 3-8 azzhattery, but I think Chip will be the immediate shot in the arm we needed to get back to UF norm (top 3 every year).

If we have 9 EEs I think we may be able to take like 32-34 kids. Kelly will have a chance to quickly remake this roster.
I hope there's some f'ing 4* LB's/DT's in the group

Saw that gmd Gator said in the chat box that Gators had no interest in the 315# guard at Riverview. As it happens this very afternoon I took my wife's great-great nephew fishing. He attends Riverview and was on the football team until this year. He said explicitly that UF was talking to him although Harvard and others showed more interest. Anyone know enough about our recruiting to settle this difference of opinion authoritatively?

May have already been posted, but I know that Stricklin is calling recruits to reassure. Can't hurt.

To be fair, we dont often fight for Harvard commits. We wont under the next coach either.

if he saying we are ignoring him he is probably correct. we like to hold out for at least FIU level players.

I am not a huge follower of recruits as far as their rating/stars go, mainly b/c it seems like when they put on our jersey, they never develop and many times regress. So my advice for those worrying about our recruiting class would be to give Crucial a shout, b/c according to him and his investigative reporting, we are a lock to get every single monster star player out there every year!

Wrong. If we are recruiting someone, we are not ignoring them. Harvard was the most intellectual school he named, but not the best football school recruiting him
. Why do I bother? Too many posters constantly harp on imagined negatives. The tone of the remark was here's a player UF should be recruiting and aren't. We have recruited and evaluated him. Maybe we offer, maybe we don't. But we have, beyond reasonable doubt, shown interest.

And here is more: I was told that he is incredibly strong. Seems as if you, yourself, have expressed an interest in big, strong offensive linemen. I personally have grown so tired of linemen missing assignments and of linemen standing like statues while blitzers run by them, that I wouldn't object to a little brains on the offensive line.

What is his name and I will look him up?

I DO prefer big bodies up front, but with most of the spread guys we are looking at, we will likely be downsizing again, looking for OL to run stretches.

I think I tried to get you to address this question earlier. What offensive linemen do we have left for a new spread offense? How about the ones we are now recruiting?
