this ^.............but I saw some attitude and toughness missing the last two weeks......I think with Zaire able to go the whole way we get that win,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ever the optimist I am........

HUH? Zaire is awful. He can't throw at all and had a couple runs. Zaire is not a good QB.

Franks>zaire

did not say that. In fact I know from reading here we have the slowest poorest coached players on earth with the worst coaches and Admin in the history of collegiate sports.........all that said I still think we pull it out with the little bit of momentum that Zaire seemed to have established............

Meh, Zaire can throw, he's just wildly inconsistent. You're right though, he's not a good QB. The problem I have with Zaire is he isn't even doing a better job of getting the offense in better looks against the defenses. So if he isn't even doing any better at that than Franks, what the hell makes him qualified to start over Franks? I don't see ANY improvement in the offense at all with Zaire in. Mostly that's because Nuss refuses to use him how he's most effective (running) and when he finally throws caution to the wind and actually calls a QB run, Zaire gets hurt on the very first designed QB run. It's like we can't win. This program needs to be flushed and rejuvenated from top to bottom. I still say Franks would be a whole lot better under a different staff. He hasn't developed for crap, but neither has anybody else on the roster imo.

We have the perfect combination of QB's to ensure a lack of success.

Zaire seems to understand how to play the position to include running through his progressions and reading defenses at least at a basic level. Unfortunately, he lacks any real arm talent which precludes him from being successful.

Franks possesses all the arm strength and talent required to be a good college QB. Unfortunately he has absolutely no idea how to play the position and doesn't seem to have learned anything so far this year.

This is what you get when you hire a QB whisperer like Mac
