The Scott Frost love/hate relationship with Nebraska

As I said in another thread, I'd much prefer Kelly to Frost, although Frost has some interesting upsides.

Many of you may have known this, but I didn't (or I forgot). I had some drinks with a couple of Nebraska buddies tonight, and I was kind of shocked at how lukewarm they were at the prospect of Frost to Nebraska. I really didn't remember the ups and downs of that relationship.

The point? Maybe none. But seems it isn't a foregone conclusion that Frost is going to want to rush to Nebraska.

Those spoiled Nebraska fans. But unless someone in Omaha killed his dog, I doubt this would ever be a factor.

This article is why I want Frost at Florida. He's a competitor. He never gives up. He works through adversity to creat success. He's a winner.

Oh I'm sure they'd take him in a heartbeat. I was just surprised by the tepid response.

It sounds like there situation is kind of like ours - went from crazy man (Pellini vs Muschamp) to an entirely too laid back character (their current guy vs McElwain).

I gotta say the more I read about Frost I like about him, and would now be quite happy to get him. But I really doubt he is coming here, and I'd prefer Kelly anyways.

This has been brought up before by a few posters, me included. I think he has made up with their fan base and Osborne has visited him personally at UCF.

He is first on my list but I think he's going to NU. I don't have any doubts and I think he is the first person SS reached out to, imho.

The problem I see with Frost is that he hasn't had the keys to the car long enough to know what he'll do at UF or Nebraska or any other D1 program that is perennially in the hunt. With Chip, you'll always be wondering about the next job offer. Additionally, I won't be sold on all the gossip until I see his moving van arrive in Hogtown.
