UNF lost its leading scorer. highest scorer to return averaged 10 points. He's 6'6" G/F. They have a 6'8" freshman F & 2 6'7" freshman & sophomore. Should be simillar to GW game.

7PM, SEC Network, playing in Gainesville.

Yeah UF beat them soundly, but I seem to remember that UNF guard playing pretty well against UF. I also remember some rumblings of him considering being a graduate transfer maybe even to UF before he opted to stay at UNF.

Isn't that Dallas Moore. He finished his time at UNF

UNF has played some good competition so far. They seem to be holding their own.

Game 1: lost 98-66 at Mich. St.
Game 2: lost 86-66 at Mich.
Game 3: lost 95-85 at VCU

They could keep it closer than GW.

Dallas Moore, scored 31, graduated and now plays in Italy. We still beat UNF by 31points last year. Their returning high scorer averaged 10 ppg last year. UNF is really a young team.

Me Likey the 3Gor! The Ruskie can drain it. What was his other nickname? It's his twitter handle I think.

Three-Gor is the Real deal

Hope so SamIam, but so many times we've all seen a Gator hit lots of 3s one game and lots of misses the next. Be great to see 3Gor reaffirm his excelence in 3s.This sure does add a ton more excitement and anticipation than just having a winning game. Go Gators! Make a grand showing on the SECN.
We've got to build fast for Gonzaga & Duke.

3gor crushes free throws as well as 3s. He can drive to the hoop and score. He looks like the total package.

I want to see Ballard again. His repertoire on offense was impressive. I loved what I saw out of Okauru too. He’s much better than I’d thought he be. I’d like to see him run point more.

Right so Maheo! Ballard, Hudson, Okauru, even Chase Johnson were so selective-smart in their shots that they hit a high % FGs ... also hit FTs well = high scoring efficiency that opponents cannot combat. They were like veteran players, yet it was their first game in CFBBall, and Hudson's 1st game as a Gator. If 3Gor is relied on less, fun to see how these guys hit on the extra opertunity. K.Allen & Hayes have that potential to hit more FGs. Go Gators, gel further.

I suspect that in the up coming game Koulechov will score less and Hudson more. Hudson has a scorers mentality maybe even more so that Koulechov. So I would not be surprised if each of them led UF is scoring many times this season. I hope some of the scorers mentality of each rubs off on Allen. Of course I also hope UF takes the ball inside to the bigs from time to time too.

Amen Insti. I'll feel more sureif Gators develop a successful "go-to" inside game. BTW, who will be most reliable? Ballard? Gak? Hayes? even Chase Johnson?

Certainly the most reliable is Hayes after all he scored over 20 in the SEC-Big12 challenge last year. After that we have not track record on any of the bigs. Stone we know is pretty good, but he is a big more of wing player than a post player. I think Johnson is a bit like Stone. Gak is still a bit raw but making progress. Finally Bassett looked solid against Tampa and awful against GWU. So I guess we will know more about him as the season unfolds.

Florida takes on North Florida at 7 PM on SECN at the O'Dome. North Florida no longer has Dallas Moore but still has some decent guards. We need to keep improving on defense and rebounding. Play with some intensity on both ends and keep up the quality offense.

Predicted Starters-

Chiozza
Allen
3Gor
Stone
Hayes
