I know others have expressed similar sentiments, but damn it's nice to be able to say what you honestly think without the "play nicely police" or the "Foley is genius goon squad" coming for you. I expressed an opinion of our erstwhile AD that the boot-lickers didn't care for, on another board that many others have already abandoned for the very same reason. Needless to say, my less than flattering take on Foley's Football Follies didn't go over too well. I wasn't banned, but boy did tilly get his panties in a wad. I'll show them! They can't fire me - I quit! Phuk 'em! Thanks again for an open expression of ideas.

I came here from Swamp Gas. That board is absolutely terrible. Almost zero redeeming qualities. There's not one member of this board that comes close to the ridiculous pumping on that board. I'm not going to mention any members from that board by name but there's one poster that swears we're winning it all every single year. That's not the reason I stopped going there though. If you say anything bad about the coaches, you could get banned. What's the point of having a message board if you can't speak your opinion. You can call out players on that board but not coaches or Foley. Which is the opposite of what it should be. The young kids playing football at UF are amateur athletes. It's ok to critique their play. I'm not for talking **** about players. But if the adults that are getting paid a ton to coach football suck at it, they should be called out. Message boards are there for that reason. There's no reason for Swamp Gas to exist. Gator Country almost never has any good insight or good reads. It just sucks.
