Not only have I heard him, but I'm seeing whispers of possibly Tim Brewster for TEs and maybe Dameyune Craig as QBs......and apparently Zook is interested in coming back to warmer weather and even put out feelers last year to maybe come here for ST. Not sure on Knox.

And since @ltraz liked that post - Why don’t the two of you let us know what university has had a better string of quarterbacks over the last 30 years. And name the quarterbacks.

Miami definitely had better quarterbacks in the 80s. Their last really good quarterback was probably Ken Dorsey.

Of course it is a case by case basis.

Above is the list of 3 time pro-bowlers at CB. I think this is the best website to look up these stats, but it included some safeties and even Julio Jones.

Not saying that I would just plug any of them in there. But there are several that I would choose over any Grad Asst that anyone had.

Surtain would be a major uprgade over bell. Bell coached one year in college at fau. Surtain was an nfl pro bowler that probably comes with 5 blue chip recruits.

Let's face it, this year was hard on all of us, some more than others. Whether or not you're ready for a Christmas Vacation or not, life goes on.

We have a NFL probowl qb on staff? Didn't think so. Context is everything. To a hopefully great staff and some great last minute recruiting! For some reason I feel the season is just starting vs just ended.

I don't remember strongly one way or the other on STs, I do strongly remember he was a good recruiter. I don't think he was irreplaceably good at either position.

With this roster of misfits that nobody worth a sh*t wanted?
It will be 2-3 yrs before we're competitive with UGA or anyone else with a pulse. Mac and Shannon ROYALLY f*ck up our roster and it will take at least 2 cycles of top 5 classes to fix most of the issues and 3 for us to be considered a National power again. Mullen has his work cut out for him!

Sure. That's my only concern with the Zooker. It's been a long time, but after he got demoted from DC did he have a position group? I honestly don't remember. I'm not sure there's any position coach I'd want him replacing - but he does have multiple seasons in the NFL doing the job, so I'm certain he's probably gleaned enough about the kicking game not to make it useless for him to specialize.
