I fully understand and agree with the "no reason to choose FSU" school of thought. I first had that epiphany during 10th grade English class in 1968 when I was struck dumb by the fact that a very intelligent person like Victor King actually preferred FSU to UF. I'm still unable to grasp the appeal that that loathsome excuse for a university has for some people. I guess some things really do defy all logic and reason.

Maybe slick Willie pointed out how our OL and WRs are even worse than FSU's.
There is something that other teams are able to tell high profile players about UF that puts them off us no matter who the coach is.

Just in case, I am expecting him to sign with Bama, FSU, or remain at OSU. There's been too much let down recently for me to handle. It'll take Mullen 2-3 years to knock the stench on Muschamp and Yellow Fang away. This mindset will help if Emory doesn't come.

This was absolutely true, but Petrino stepped in an threatened to pull his Louisville offer if he did not sign today. Truth is, however, that while Mullen and QB coach visited the young man's high school, it never went beyond that.
