I’m serious...I can’t believe this dude is the starting QB on a playoff team

Admittedly, I haven’t watched much of the jags this year, but that QB is as bad as any I’ve ever seen playing on Sundays.

What was her passer rating?
She passed the turkey and dressing, and the lima beans and okra, around the table with far more success than Bortles throws a screen pass, and we were a pretty voracious bunch, but I don't think there's a rating for that.

Bortles played with the "deer in the headlights" look today and for the previous two stinky losses. Playoffs is time for QB to step up. He has stepped down.

Tebow won a playoff game. Why any NFL coach would rather have a young backup QB who is likely to end up as a starter for some other team if they ever start, rather than a guy who had won a playoff game can only be insecurity.

And insecurity runs NFL coaches. Coaches are afraid of a popular back up QB. Coaches are afraid of bad press because the press "hates" him and his values. Coaches are afraid of their own shadows for the most part since the jobs a so few and an owner can dump you in a second when any controversy arises, ie see the Giants guy that merely changed QBs because his team was struggling.

I'd give that a double like if I could.

Wind was said to be a factor, but I agree he is not good enough.

It's very hard to blame the wind for a five yard pass that misses by five yards.

OK. I'm exaggerating. They only missed by four yards.

Bortles: 12/23 for 87 yards. Long was 20 yards. 1 TD. 0 INTs. He was the leading Rusher w/ 10 Carries for 88 yards.

I hate to break it to you, but those are very Tebow-esque numbers. If Tebow put those up in today's game, you'd be clamoring again, "He won a playoff game."

Bortles sucks. If he isn't handing the ball off to Fournette, the playcall is "drop back and run". Gas passes better than him. He is barely serviceable as a backup, let alone a starter. If Tebow had a running back as good as LF to take the pressure off of him and one of the best defenses in the league, he would probably still have a job. There were multiple instances in today's game when Bortles nearly blew the game single handedly. They won in spite of him. Tebow didn't have a spectactular game years ago, but he won that game against Pittsburgh by making big plays when it mattered most. He may compare similarly to Tebow, but his decision making is much much worse in my opinion.
