I'm pretty sure this is the same guy that did the long video of the Falcons fans during the Super Bowl. The slow decline into complete despair is amazing. :lmao2:

Some interesting observations:
  • We have obnoxious fans, they have obnoxious fans, everyone has obnoxious fans. But that guy in the foreground, with the black SEC 75th anniversary UGA jersey and red hat, was REALLY obnoxious.
  • And why would a UGA fan even wear a jersey from THAT year? That was 2006, when WE beat them and WE won the SEC and National Titles. Get a newer jersey.
  • Did the guy who recorded all of that record the ENTIRE game and then just edit it? That's not only a lot of work, but requires a LOT of memory on a smartphone.
  • Despite Captain's comment about the Falcons, fact is, there are plenty of Gators here in Jawja who are also Falcons fans. That loss to NE last year was really depressing. Now, I'll admit that when I got out of the Army in 81 (was stationed at Ft Stewart, GA, and was still a Dolphin fan) and moved to ATL, I told my roommate (also from MIA) that I "didn't need the Falcons, as we have a REAL pro team" (sic). It took many years, and two sons who became rabid Falcons fans, for me to become one. I really like the owner Blank, and I REALLY like Matt Ryan - as we would say in Yiddish, a "real mensch," and so those are some reasons I've become a Falcons fan. Plus, Quinn was our D Coordinator for a year or two.
  • I have to disclose (I've done it elsewhere) that I have multiple family members who have graduated from UGA or went there. I married into it - wife went there, didn't graduate. Her brother played for Dooley, was a starting DT in 77 and 78 ( he did graduate). Younger son went there on HOPE Scholly and kept it all four years (that's hard to do). He is a "double-Dog" as he earned double-majors. Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins on her side of the family are UGA grads (although one niece on her side had the good sense to go to UF and graduated in '01).
  • So, how did I handle Monday night? Same way I've been handling UGA games since I met my wife, and entered into this predicament. I "pulled" for them to win. How do I do that? Well, you're never going to see me bark like a Dog, that's the first thing. Indeed, when son Scott went to UGA orientation, they have the incoming freshmen and parents get together and do that, and I just wasn't going to do it. Ended up we missed that part of orientation. I also don't "cheer" for them. I don't yell, scream, or get excited. I make simple comments like "good play," or "that sucks," or "oh sh^t" on a bad UGA play. I'm very nonplussed over it. And I've been doing this for 35 years now!
  • I have gone to two UGA games while Scott was in school. I do have two red polos (no UGA logo on them) and so I wore one, and I DO have a a UGA "G" hat that's red, and I wore that to both games. For both games, I also wore a UF t-shirt (NC shirts) under that red polo! Funny thing, first game was against UK week after they "stomped" us in 2007. We purchased our seats from a UGA alum friend. Son sat with his frat. Those sitting around us noticed that, by about 3rd quarter, while I would "cheer" (applaud) a good play, I didn't participate in their cheers (hell, I don't know them). Wife had to disclose my true identity. They were OK with it, thought it was funny. I bet they didn't think what we did to them a year later (2008) was pretty funny!

Pretty sure this is enough to get you on 812’s list.
