You know that Seider was here only one year, right? And that his freshmen were ready to play. We finally had backs hitting the right holes at the right time and making their blocks usually on passing plays?

You are on record saying our new RB coach is more qualified right?

Fvkk no. What are you talking about?

Knox resume is "friend of Mullinz". This is where Mullinz survives or sets himself up for getting fired in year 3 or 4. Hope he is right.

This is one of the big reasons we suck. We should have done anything necessary to keep Torian Gray and Seider. Instead we give raises to the HCs buddies like Nusschump and Nord or hire Knox and push Seider out the door.

Bammer doesnt let good coaches go. They only let the crappy ones leave.

Well I am not going to dig for the post but I am pretty sure when the change was made from RB to TE you said it made sense due to Knox having the experience. Wasnt you?
No, I said I guess he did it thinking he knew the playbook. That was when it appeared Seider was cool w it. Of course, weve had Scott on deck all along and we were just waitng for Seider to take the hint.

We had exactly one elite coach on the staff and we pushed him out to bring a Cowbell third tier guy and a Piece of Shyt Life Champion.

You should just leave it at that. You are ignorant on the subject. Leave it there.

I fully expect a thud on Feb 2. Seider was our elite recruiter. We have none now. All so we can keep Knox and hire a Life Champion.

Considering the argumentation you've made for Seider so far Swampa$$, you might want to take your own advice. :)

Any animate or inanimate that object came within a 100 foot radius of Butterc#unt during his tenure should be placed in barrels full of hydrochloric acid and dumped in the ocean. I don't care what type of coach or recruiter you are, the skidmarks left by Mac need to deep cleaned.
I know you don't know much about the staff however if you're extending it to all the leftover Fooley crap in the front office, I'm in. Where do I sign up?

The only friction was Seider being moved to TE coach and wanting to stay as RB coach. He is far from a snake. Forget his coaching and recruiting ability for a moment....he was and is a class act. The so-called friction was players disappointed to lose their proven position coach. The players loyalty to Seider was uncomfortable for some. He had to go...all sides in agreement.

Let’s support the new RB coach and the new TE coach. Hope they do great. But you may be delusional if you don’t think we just lost a superior coach.
We just had one of our more connected members here confirm that he was pushed out and that he was referred to as a "snake". If you don't want to believe it that's fine, but I'll take his connections over yours anyday.

I don't know much about Scott really, but was he involved in any of the Jim Leavitt stuff while at USF?

He did go 4-1 as an interim at UM, for whatever that's worth.

Not thrilled to see Seider go. I only hope that it was for the right reasons. We are still better than having Butters around.

I'm not thrilled with either of them, TBH. But Mac has fostered a deep rooted culture of losing in Gainesville and stripping the coaching staff down to it's foundation is the best way to start the rebuilding process.

I'm also not impressed with a coach when he gets the players vote of confidence on the way out. This indicates to me that Seider acted more like their friend than coach, which is not a recipe for success on the field.

I just checked and everyone ever associated with Mullinz says he is a incredible azzhole.

But some good HCs are.

There was a post on here a while back about what a rude, snarky old bung hole the OBC was / is. As long as it's the other guys who are learning to hate him the most, I don't give two hoots in Hades about "likeable" coaches. I just want a winning one. And while I'm aware that nothing has been proven, one way or the other, we now at least have a chance to move on from the great, loose bowl movement that has been our FB program for the last 8 years. Flushed at last, flushed at last!

Everyone ever associated with Satan says the same thing about him.
Yeah, the difference is that Satan doesn't have a .400 conference winning record. I agree though, if he wins, no one cares if he curses his grandmother and every lil ole lady he sees.

Seider is an elite coach, he will be fine. I just wish we had elite coaches ourselves.

I trust Marianna to pass the info he receives. As for the guy who gave Marianna that info, how sure are you that it didn’t get delivered with a certain percentage of bias? I mean, we certainly don’t see that around here, right?
