Well from what I've learned here over the last 2 days on this board is this....
Don't get any 5 stars....
Finish with the 3rd worst recruiting ranking at school history since rankings have been held.....
Don't get anywhere near the number you could have taken....
Finish halfway down a very top heavy conference littered with piss poor coaches...
Let Jimbo beat you at his new job...as well as let 3 other new coaches out recruit you despite the fact that you're in the best state in the nation for HS football recruiting, at the premier University....
Let your in state rival who just had their worst season in 35 years and had a coaching staff turnover finish higher in the rankings.....
Let the former coach of your biggest rival who now coaches in state out recruit you....

But most importantly....always save your best recruits for the next year.....:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

In my years on here, I’ve learned that the more slapping-hand-laughing emojis are needed, the weaker the point.

As was pointed out, who exactly is raving about the class? It’s a solid transition that mirrors some of our others. Nothing more, nothing less.

Despite your hatred of basic calculation, math, and Google, the notion that Fisher beat Mullen is refuted in every manner possible. Since math isn’t your thing, maybe English...

Your next year point was already thwarted when perhaps our best ever HC employed the exact same strategy. To keep bringing it up and pretending Meyer didn’t do exactly the same thing is just, well...wait, I know, do a laughing emoji!

Except the only one that matters......final rankings. For someone who seems so numbers based I surely can't see how you're missing this.....We also are behind UCLA, Oregon and FSU......At this point in time we are worse than all of them.....you can't argue with those numbers.

Maybe next year when we unleash all of the guys we were saving :lmao2: from this :lmao2::lmao2: year...:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

It's time to ignore, crete. He's just been too stupid for too long. Not really worth my time.

I'm really surprised he beat out Boss, but you know, concrete head after all.

I’m only asking this out of morbid curiosity, but if you claim that someone is still out recruiting someone else, what exactly would you use as a fair comparison formula?
Average number of Stars times total Number of Recruits divided by Months on the Job. With some sort of weighted penalty for shady sh!t like bagmen and hookers.

People should really take a look at Meyer's 2008 - 2010 classes and see if they think those highly ranked classes panned out they way we thought at the time

But he didn't have 25 recruits left to him. So no. Mullen also had a more time too i beleive.

The Program topography that worked against Mullen & crew's recruiting was the bad 6-8 year terrain mapped out by Muschamp & by McElwain. For all those years this GatorNation wasteland was the repelling landscape that too few athletes wanted to be tourists in. DM had to pitch, "Don't pay attention to the Program you've been seeing, but buy into the maybe soon-to-be football that I'm gonna start anew." That is a hard sell of a "wait to see" maybe transition team?-- not as very attractive as the more successful years & HCs of competing programs. DM has gotten us off to a good start.

Jeez! To laud or debase this class based on one or a few criteria or comparisons with previous coaches is laughable.

Did Mullen and team pull in enough quality players at positions of need to seemingly (vastly) improve the roster available for next season? Yeah, probably. Now let’s see how it plays out on the field and how the massive work they’ve been doing on the 2019 class pans out.

Seems like there’s a lot of posturing for posturing’s sake about this class and the staff.

I remember watching Jake Allen at St. Thomas every chance I got because he was supposedly this great QB coming to UF. Every time I watched him play, all I could think was that Grimes was the one making most all the plays. He was a Rivals 6.1 and would easily be the star of this class. I was mad that we were getting Allen not Trevon. I’m not mad anymore :)

Im mad that we waste scholarships on fifth string QBs like Allen and Trash.

We can get 3 star QB walkons.
Allen’s not mobile, so he’ll hopefully be processed out. Trask is mobile and has a good arm. They may make him into a reasonable backup. If not, process him out too

They are gone.

We will see Toney and the new walkon long before them.

If everything I ever read on Gatorchatter were true....

One of the issues was not so much our poor performance on the field over the years (Muschamp was considered a decent recruiter), but the reported broken relationships or lack thereof that Mac left with Florida high schools. So not only was Mullen trying to recruit the kids, he was trying to rebuild the positive connections with the schools and coaches. His success outside of Florida seems to emphasize this problem. Other schools that we are trying to compare to in the final rankings did not reportedly have to deal with that issue.

I feel guilty watching you pull the legs off a helpless spider like that.

First team All Stater, who fit the scheme. Allen and Trash dont.

You could say Kadarius Toney and Jaylin Jackson are 4th string QBs.... who will be playing soon.
The more i hear about Franks around G’ville, the more I think you’re right about him going into the season
