Yeah, if we got fvkking destroyed and embarrassed by Lou-vul, I can only imagine how hilarious a Bammer assrapin would have been.

Hell, I didnt even want to play La Lafayette or a Sunbelt.

We should have just fired Chimp when he declared offense was unnecessary and that Gators dont know how to win, then forfeited the bowl and started over.

Saying "should" isn't quite accurate. Who were the players that were supposed to be ineligible? Did they make a difference in ND's season?

We should have had an offense and actually tried to.score points that year.

We should have.

I wonder if Chimp will hang a runner up banner at WB stadium.

Getting to the NC game and getting obliterated (which would have happened) might have bought Muschamp another year, maybe we miss out on the Mac disaster.

That Bama team had a crazy good O line. It would have been like the recent SEC championship games we had if we had made that game. A USC upset of ND would have gotten us in that game despite the terrible offense and all the Driskeling.

Our defense was ridiculous. Even an average offense would have brought home the title, but Muschamp didn't think it was necessary. He's like Buddy Ryan, who only thought offenses existed to make his defenses look good, even in practice.

I remember the La Lafayette coach being interviewed after the game about his decision to sit on the ball and ultimately punt, content to go into OT rather than trying to get into hail mary range. Paraphrasing, he said he never felt the urge to press things or got swept in the idea that he had a chance to knock of the University of Florida. Rather, he said he felt great about his chances in OT. It was one of the most embarrassing moments I could ever remember(at that time) as a Gator. Here WM has future NFL starters at QB, RB, TE x2, WR(Dunbar), Kicker, a solid OL, not to mention the defense...and he couldn't even strike fear into the heart of the coach of a directional opponent.

Rankings, technicalities or otherwise, we had no business being in that game.

Besides, uga already declared that 2012 season to be their 3rd "Almost National Championship" in 10 years('02 and '07). Feels like we'd be stepping on their toes.
