Wow...he’s actually been at UF for awhile. He was the associate AD of marketing when I was a junior and did work for them.

That's gotta be a pretty sweet job. Although Charlotte isn't much of an athletic powerhouse it's in a great city and he's 'the man'. They have a very new D1 football program and are usually competitive in men's basketball (other than that I have no clue about their athletic department). Their total athletic budget is probably comparable to the UF men's golf team budget though. :D

Mike Hill leaves Florida to become AD at Charlotte
  • Mike Hill, Florida’s longtime executive associate athletic director for external affairs, is leaving the school after 25 years to become the athletic director at Charlotte. Hill worked closely with the Gators’ men’s basketball program. Read more here.
  • “It’s a perfect fit professionally and personally,” Hill said in a statement. “In the end for me, it was an incredible professional experience and a wonderful opportunity personally to go back to an area that’s home. The program has a really strong foundation and a history of success. There’s a lot to build upon and cultivate and grow. The athletic facilities are outstanding, really terrific for any level you might consider in any conference.”

No one in our archaic AD has ever heard of off set contracts. Bunch of morons that cost the school millions and millions. Pathetic. Drove football into the ground. Good riddance.

No. Nor am I surprised that most of the assistants couldn't land a P5 job either. We knew that Seider and Rumph were the only P5 type assistants on the staff. I guess people saw enough in Brad Davis to give him a chance. Not sure how long he stays.

Damn, Buford has 3 good OL, in the 2019 class. UF has already offered all 3. Now, scUM has an inside track with Simpson & Richt.

Nord doesn't need to work again. Both from a financial standpoint and a lack of coaching skills standpoint

Dan Mullen's alma mater:

Ursinus (D-III – PA):
Archbishop Wood HS (PA) head coach Steve Devlin has stepped down to join the staff as an assistant coach. Devlin posted a 132-22-1 record with five state titles at Archbishop Wood.

Lot's of "analysts" being hired at SEC schools and other schools:

LSU:
Mark Criner has joined the staff as defensive analyst. Criner spent this past season as co-defensive coordinator at CSU Pueblo and previously has served as defensive coordinator at Idaho, Middle Tennessee, Cincinnati and elsewhere.

Alabama: Austin Mangin has joined the Crimson Tide staff as an analyst, per AL.com. Mangin was a fullback at LSU from 2005-2009 and later worked the program’s special teams in 2012-2013. The past four seasons Mangin has spent as the special teams coordinator at Northwestern State (FCS – LA).

Texas A&M: Former Aggie quarterback Jake Hubenak is joining the staff in an analyst role for spring football.

Michigan: Former Lions offensive line coach Ron Prince is joining the staff as an offensive analyst, per multiple outlets.
