Lee is a rebounding machine. He was borderline for me. But is he better than Horford? So he’s probably 3rd team. Shows you how dominant BD was at recruiting and developing talent.
Mine was more of my favs since GOAT is very subjective. I put guys on the list that would not make the list. Like Gene, Gene the Dunkin Machine...he was the star of the team when I first went to UF....he is not as good as the Oh-Fours....but a fav.

1st Team - Horford, Noah, Walk, Wilbekin, and Humphrey
2nd Team - Lee, Haslem, Bonner, Brewer, Chiozza
3rd Team - McDowell, Miller, R. Williams, Moten, J. Williams

*Players who should rank among the best but fell by the wayside, one way or another - Maxwell, Schintzius, Dupay, Chatman, Calathes...

Best I ever saw was William Moody, but he was only in town for a year.

Go back and watch Noah when he played at UF. He was a scorer, rebounder, and shot blocker. Its not like he averaged 4 points a game

Lol, so his jump shot was better in college? You're really reaching now.

Just admit it. Noah could run the floor, find the open man, defend like crazy and dunk. I give him credit for all of those. As a scorer, garbage points.

I am not saying he was a great jump shooter. He had a variety of shots around the rim. He did hit a few funky looking jump shots though. Watch the games and highlights

You mean layup, dunk and put-back? Yes, very good at all three. That doesn't make him a "scorer" in my book.

And, no, Sas, he doesn't need to consistently drain 20-footers, but even you have to admit that form is comical.

At the risk of being redundant, following is an article on William Moody from the Tallahassee Democrat by Jim Henry from June 21, 2016 just after he passed away:

When William Moody played basketball, it was a game to watch.

Moody, at 6-foot-3, did it all. He shot long, intermediate and short jumpers. He dunked, 360-degrees style. He played defense. He rebounded. He shared the ball.

Legend has it he “made change” by grabbing a quarter from the top of the backboard.

Andrew Moten recalled as a child climbing on the roof of Carter Parramore gymnasium in Quincy and looking through the glass panels, watching Moody and copying his style on playground courts. That was 40-plus years ago.

“He was the first player I saw that I wanted to be like,” said Moten, who starred at Florida (1983-87) and helped lead the Gators to their first NCAA Tournament appearance.

“There are always players who can do one thing good. He (Moody) was able to do everything good.

“He was the complete player.”

Moody, who helped lead tiny Greensboro High to three consecutive Class C state championships (1969-71) and later returned home to mentor youth and coach under Moten at West Gadsden High, died last week. He was 62.

It was on the court where Moody made a name for himself.

It’s a name that connects generations.

Many believe Moody had the talent to go pro, but as Moody himself said years later in an interview with the Tallahassee Democrat, “life doesn’t always give you those chances.”

Life returned Moody to Greensboro, where he played adult league basketball, married Emma nearly 16 years ago and made a difference with area youth.

“He ate, slept and breathed basketball,” Emma said. “He watched anything to do with sports, but he loved basketball with a passion. That’s where his heart was.”

When Moten, 50, was hired as the boys basketball coach at West Gadsden six years ago, he asked Moody to join his staff. Shingles said Moody helped him with the game’s fundamentals, from positioning and spacing his fingers correctly on the basketball when shooting to taking proper angles on rebounds.

While Moten and Moody were accomplished scorers in their hey-days – Moten is third all-time in points and seventh in assists on UF’s career lists – their focus was defense. They talked on the telephone for hours on end about basketball. Emma said she’d find the telephone receiver on her sleeping husband’s chest at night.

The Panthers were a state runner-up in 2013, and Moody also coached the Panthers’ junior varsity and middle school teams. When Moody’s health started to decline, he instructed players from a chair near courtside.

“He was a dear friend who is going to be greatly missed,” Moten said.

Kind of neat that he wound up as an assistant coach to another Gator, Andrew Moten, who idolized him as a youth. The quote about him being Michael Jordan before there was a Michael Jordan is true! He could do it all. Just wish he could have held it together to play a full career at UF. He was a good guy, but academics wasn't his thing.

BTW, there's no bigger Jo Noah fan here than yours truly. I just put him on my all-time UF team and he played for my NBA favorite Bulls for 10 years. I've seen a lot of this guy.

Noah did it ALLLL - vs SBama in the tourney 16 points, 8 reb, 7 assists, and 5 blocks. vs UW 17 points, 7 reb, 6 assists, 4 blocks. vs Gtown 15 points, 10 reb, 5 blocks. vs Nova 21 points, 15 rebs, 5 blocks. vs GM 12 points, 8 reb, 4 blocks. vs UCLA 16 points, 9 reb, 6 blocks. I don't care how he scored, he was scoring as indicated by the box scores and doing everything else. Went from a project and not even recruited by his beloved Georgetown to STAR and MOP/MVP in the FINAL 4

I was bummed when he left Chicago. He was the heart and soul of that team. Hoiberg turned his back on him. The Bulls really suck now.

Wilt Chamberlain didn’t have much of a jump shot, so I won’t put him at center on my all-time college or NBA list.

Give me the 04s and I’ll beat any of the teams you put out there. Their chemistry was, and always will be, unmatched
