Stupid question...
Do we know if he's really gone? I haven't seen anything on the interwebs that says 'he gone'

Looks like he took on an additional role at WJCB - but doesn't say he's out of there.

I thought that I heard Russell say that Brady was going to do TV. And I think Shane is scheduled to report to jail this summer so they were not going to keep him on the air while he awaits jail regardless. As long as they don;t put Tooley back on the air, I will be okay. However I think OX should call over there and ask what it would cost to put on the "GatorChatter 2 Hour Power" and those us who want to pony up to get the show going can be hosts. When the potential sponsors hear how the phones are lighting up they will be knocking down OX's door to buy ad time! Thoughts??????

I could probably do a GoFundMe and raise whatever is needed in days.

Don't you have any contacts left over there at WRUF you can call?
We need to know what's going on...

LOL....I don't do you????

Once Otis Boggs died, my contacts all went away. I used to play golf every Sunday in Williston with Otis and one of the old sales managers. Harry was never a big fan of mine because I always gave him shiit about not playing Buffett. Plus I would break format constantly, especially skipping over any Bon Jovi song.

Meeting up with DS tonight at Kuma's Corner in Chicago. It is a Heavy Metal Burger Bar. Best burgers in Chicago!

His Wikipedia page says he’s in Jacksonville. The 11 years I lived in the Ocala/Gainesville market, he bounced around quite a bit for different reasons. It’s a volatile industry but he seemed to be a bit of a vagabond even so.

Did you know Ted Covjngton? He was a dear friend & was Otis’ broadcast partner. I think Ted called Spurrier’s FG vs. Auburn.

To hell with GoFundMe. Did you see the list of degrees in the alumni thread recently? There is enough money within this community to make it happen. Let's go OX. Make a call and I will go over there and meet with them personally. Russell is okay but the late afternoon show is just dreadful!!!!

The GoFundMe would be funded by the moneybags on this site. I put it up, start a thread, have all the money. Bing!

I did not know Ted....I was at Rock 104 and did Dial A Score in the mid to late 80's. Otis was the kindest, most generous person I ever knew. I was a 22 yr old kid, and he invited me to be a part of their foursome every Sunday. Meant the world to me to be playing golf with the voice of the Gators from 1939-1980. The week before I graduated I finally broke 80 (78) at the UF course, and Otis was the first person I called! He was truly a legend!!!
