I mean, not you. Obviously.

Sarcasm?

It’s really a tough call. There’s a handful of movies that I can watch over and over: most Marvel Comic movies, Austin Powers, Men in Black, Shawshank Redemption, several Clint Eastwood movies, Happy Gilmore, Tommy Boy, even Harry Potter (my kids love those movies, but I promise we don’t watch them in costume). I’m sure there’s a few I’m forgetting...

Lord of the Rings trilogy
Shawshank Redemption
The Silence of the Lambs
The Usual Suspects
Saving Private Ryan
Caddyshack

There is noway I can name an overall number 1. Maybe if we broke it down by genre. There are some movies that I will always stop on if I am flipping through the channels regardless of how many times I have seen it. Shawshank Redemption. Kill Bill. The Last Samurai. Christmas Vacation. Kingpin. Hunt for Red October. Groundhog Day. Full Metal Jacket. Predator. The Green Mile. The Big Lebowski.

Same as me. So many I can’t turn off even if not very good. Most of your list plus jaws, gremlins, goonies, ghostbusters, spaceballs, summer rental, great outdoors, back to the future, rocky 1-4 and major league.

Local morning radio show put together a 32 team bracket made up of sports movies. Half were before a specific year, half were after, so you avoided a bracket full of millennial era movies. The two eras were put on opposite sides so you ended up with a final of old vs new. In this instance it was Rocky vs We Are Marshall.

Should we put together a bracket of sports themed movies, or just favorite movies in general, and run a similar vote-off contest?
