This is what you reap when you let Foley lurk around the building. Does anyone think Spurrier's interest would be that intense for this two-bit league that will surely fail if Foley wasn't pumping lies in Mr. Starkville Mediocrity's ear, thus making Spurrier's job miserable?

Here's hoping this televised operation will help UF's celebrity towards promoting recruiting-draw. Make UF due to its SOS ambassador more of a football hub than before.?? Never know how "things" play out in the minds of 17 year old FB worshippers.

Spurrier takes a swipe at Mac.

“Sitting up there watching how inept the Gator offense was, it got me to thinking that maybe I’m wasting whatever coaching ability I have."

Normally I wouldn't click a Biatchi link, but being in Orlando he will be covering that team a lot.

SOS had every right to take that swipe! Especially after that arrogant ahole said he could win with his dog at QB.
The league is setting up to be an offensive showcase, so there is no doubt that ole ball coach will have a very entertaining offense to watch. God Bless him and I wish him the best.

Watching the Gator offense the last 8 years has made me want to jab pencils in my eyes. Too bad SOS wasn't involved more, but hopefully he does well with Tebow or Johnny Football....I'm just guessing here.

He was? This is based on what? Certainly not by what was displayed on the field, not by player progression, not by any measurable football knowledge. In fact, if Mac did consult Spurrier, he did exactly the opposite of anything Spurrier may have told him.

I said it was a wasted opportunity....It was a negative comment towards Mac......why is this so hard for you to understand?

I saw an interview where Spurrier claimed he offered to help in whatever way he could and was told NO. Now, If I'm Mac, I'm going to offer the offensive genius a beer and...bare minimum...listen to what he has to say.
If I failed to do that, it would most certainly qualify as a wasted opportunity.

I just hope he doesn't hire Jr. to his staff in Orlando. That dude should have never made it past "would you like fries with that?"
