Gators keep winning all kinds of champions. That’s what Gators do. They win championships.

I always liked the kid. He worked hard for the Gators. He's home grown. Best of luck to him. It would be great to see him the the NBA

Hoping he lands on a roster, however limited athleticism is what’s held him back. However, if a guy like Dellavedova can play in the league, than so can’t Scottie

There are and were a lot of nonathletic NBA players, but those guys tend to have high basketball IQs to make up for the lack in athleticism.

This is maybe the funniest thing I have ever read on this board. I know this is a claim made by some on Draftexpress, but Wilbekin was one of the most athletic players in his year according to the numbers they reported. He put up great numbers. What he lacked was "length." His wingspan is not that good, but wingspan is really important in todays scouting.

Me too.
Don't laugh but in some ways I loved them more than the '04's even though I realize that my statement is blasphemy.
Not blasphemy at all. That group was far less talented than the '04s and was still the core group of some REALLY good basketball teams, not to mention the personalities Young, Wilbekin, Yeguete, and Prather all had. They were a fun bunch.

04s were amazing. One of the best teams in college basketball history.

Prather, Wilbekin, Yeguete, and Young left it all out on the court, were work horses, had high basketball IQ. I especially loved Prather has he put in his time and finally had a great year. I felt awful when they didn't win it all that year. It was like my heart was ripped out for those guys.

Nah, I’m gonna stick by my comment. He’s 6’2 which is plenty big as a PG. It’s limited explosiveness and athleticism.

I can even possibly buy the explosiveness claim. He turned in one of the best vertical leaps and one of the fastest sprint times his year. That what is usually meant by athleticism. So lack of athleticism does not work.

Scottie can't even dunk, can he?

(still love him, and he's still one of the best PG's we've ever had)
