Hey thanks Ox! Been around a long time. Lurked on the old site back during the Zook years. Finally joined up after the Gatorchatter exodus. Visiting GC is a daily routine for me and don’t feel my day is complete without catching up with you all.
If you couldn’t tell from my avatar, I serve and I’ll be deploying this summer to Iraq, but plan to keep GC in my daily “battle rhythm.” I know some of you on here have served and are serving. Thanks to you for what you do away from your families.
By the way, to refer to your other thread, keep GC as it is. I love the friendly banter and the freedom to say what we want with minimal restrictions. I think everyone shouldn’t assume the worst on every reply. Take it all in good humor. You all crack me up.
Finally, am I the only one who stops by the paid members forum for “updates?”

Funny story. My son’s name begins with an L, and when he was younger, around 6, he nicknamed himself L Dog. He wrote on a piece of paper one day “L Dog Is A Beast.” Whatever. He’s 6, right?But anyway his penmanship isn’t the best, so the D in Dog looked like an O.
When read, it said “L oog is a beast.” Kinda became a family in-joke.
