Florida man spends 4 hours in underwear on the roof a St. Augustine Wendy's.

Local radio here (PA) relayed that he had an argument with someone (female?) inside before going up on the roof and stripping and giving her hell. Had to close the Wendy's while this was ongoing.

Why would the cops give him 4h to calm down?

Man bitten by rattlesnake that fell from tree while kayaking
COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. – A South Carolina man is in critical condition after he was bitten three times by a rattlesnake that fell onto him while he was kayaking, according to WHNS.

Michael Adams was kayaking on the Edisto River with his family on Saturday when the snake dropped from the tree above him and bit him three times on the hand.

Adams’ family captured the snake and traveled to a nearby landing where they called 911, and then placed the snake in their pet alligator pen WCSC reports.

“Medic 26 arrived about 12 minutes later and began treating the man,” Colleton County Fire and Rescue officials said. “Colleton Medical Center was contacted and had anti-venom available.”

Adams, who is an army veteran, is currently on breathing machines but is expected to make a full recovery.

After seeing Mr Adams picture, I hope the snake makes it.

White privilege. Least he didn't take a dump inside on the floor and throw it at the female.

INDIAN COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) - Now, we all know "drinking and driving" is a criminal offense, but what if your car is in stationary? Can you still have a few sips?

No. No, you can't.

Earle Stevens Jr. of Vero Beach learned this the hard way last month.

According to TCPalm, the 69-year-old was pulled over at a McDonald's drive-thru on June 27 after a woman said a vehicle behind her kept hitting her rear bumper.

Stevens said he’s never had a valid Florida driver's license and deputies noticed an open bottle of liquor in the passenger seat of his car. Deputies said Stevens smelled of alcohol and said he felt "pretty good." He also told deputies he was drinking Jim Beam bourbon from the bottle found in the passenger seat, then gave arguably the worst (or best) excuse ever.

“He further explained that he was not drinking while the car was moving and only when he stopped for stop signs and traffic signals,” the arrest affidavit states.

Once in custody, Stevens blew a blood alcohol content reading of 0.153 and 0.147, which is above the 0.08 legal limit.

Stevens said he’d had two earlier DUI charges from Missouri.

In one (of many) driver rehab classes I took for speeding tickets, we had an officer explain that she came across a guy parked in a van off the side of the road one winter. He knew he was too drunk to drive and was trying to sleep it off. Unfortunately, he had the engine running to provide heat, which gave her the grounds to ticket him. Instead, she gave him a few blankets and had him shut the car off.
