No, we win all 5 games against those garbage teams even with Franks. Even with mediocre recruiting, UF still has more talent and will have a team that's actually coached this year.

That is what I have repeatedly said and been much criticized for. I have been pointedly told not with this roster and some do not like it when I ask where are the problems other than QB with this roster.

3-2 is not out of the question either. Miss St is a likely loss and KY and Tenn could be dangerous with Franks at QB.

I really agree with this assessment. Not saying we have Meyer era talent, but what we have was so poorly coached that I can't help but think we will see drastic improvements across the board.

Right I have argued that any decent coach will win 10 games against this schedule and if Mullen does that does not prove he is up to this job.

We will likely be out gunned at QB in the Georgia, Miss State, LSU and SC games for sure and maybe against FSU and KY which are kind of unknowns now and you think we are going to go 10-2?

4-1 if we're lucky. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised. I know one damned thing. If I start turning the game off at half time, we have big problems. Last year I planned my Saturdays around a full game viewing session. It never seemed to work out that way. I had to find something else to do after the unwatchable first half and then catch the God Awful replays. My son and I stopped planning watch parties. We just called each other and exchanged a lot of sentences starting with "Can you believe that...."

I'm not going through that again. No thanks. I did my time starting in the late 50's.

The sunshine pumpers and some other factors have made it to where I don't even trust my eyes. This roster has a ton of talent. I totally disagree if anybody says we don't. It's not nearly as deep as the elite teams. But our starters at most positions are all highly touted guys. The teams biggest problem (like Ox said) was the terrible coaching staff. That staff ****ed this team up way worse than anybody realizes. There should be no excuses if they don't open up 5-0. Frank's won't matter. This offense needs a QB that can run the option. That's it. They could throw a WR or RB in or have EJ or Toney run it and we should still open up 5-0.

No because at least 4 of them have QBs that so far don't appear to fall apart like Franks does. No doubt in my mind if talent besides QB was equal those 4 would have an edge over us. We have to hope Franks doesn't fall apart too bad in those games.

Well in the limited passing they did and the eyeball test they were clearly better. We have to hope Mullen can work a mini miracle with Franks or we are looking at 4 losses at least I would think.
