Daddy's Home 2 - Basically a lot like the first one. Ferrell plays his over the top character that got old a decade ago and Wahlberg plays the funny tough guy. Now that they are friends they decide to spend Christmas together with all of the kids. The two grandpa's show up and in my opinion stole the movie other than one of the little girls. They are played by Mel Gibson and John Lithgow. The two of them seem like they actually had a lot of fun making this movie. John Cena also comes along and joins the crew as well as one of the kids dads as well and the few moments he's in are actually a little funny.
You have your Wahlberg cool guy jokes with his tough guy persona, Ferrells over the top stunts he always does for a laugh, Lithgow playing the lighthearted dad (a character he has perfected), and Gibson playing the womanizing tough guy grandpa that still thinks he can behave like its the 80s and says the things we all want to say about todays parenting.
Once again if you enjoyed the first one for a few laughs you will probably like this. For the most part it can be a family movie for I would say kids over 7-8 years old. You won't feel like you wasted your money at redbox, but it will also never go down as one of the greatest comedies. 6/10.
